SOURCE: opening F-417 monitor
There are plastic tabs running along each side of the monitor. 4 on the top and sides, 2 on the bottom. Removing the case is more than a little unnerving, very snappy! I did it with a flathead screwdriver and quite a lot of force.
I have some pictures that may help, I'll post them if you still require help.
I think the idea is to press down on the tabs to disengage them from the front of the monitor.

I am just in the process of the same repair, and am at this step.
Look at the picture on step 7 of this guide:
See where the red arrow is pointing? i used 2 slot screwdrivers, one on either side of this thing, and pushed up, towards the screen gently and then popped the keyboard up and over this catch.
Then, with the part of the keyboard nearest the screen held up on a bit of an angle, use a slot screwdriver to push from the bottom of the keybaord, near the ctrl and alt keys and it will pop right out.

Most of these resin-case F-series Casio sport watches use a fairly large lithium coin cell battery. Once the four screws holding the watch back are removed, you should be able to just pop off the stainless steel spring clip that holds the cell in place and pull it out, without having to remove any more screws. Be careful when replacing the clip, because it is asymmetrical and goes in only one way. Also be careful not to lose the tiny spring contact that connects the watch movement to the piezoelectric sound element glued to the watch back. If you lose the spring, the watch will still run, but the alarm won't sound anymore.
