When using the keyboard, every time i click the letter b on it, it causes Window's Media Player to open. But the Ctrl key on the left side doesn't allow me to use short cuts in my programs anymore...

Sounds like your cntrl key might be getting stuck..

A couple of things you can do. you can take the key off, and clean round the key. And Believe it or not, you CAN put the keyboard in your dishwasher, but you have to shake out the left over water and let it sit for about 4 days.

Also try a good dust cleaner to see if that will help.

My Yamaha mm6 doesn't work stereo, just mono. when u put 2 cables it works from right channel, but if u put to the left channel, works from the left. I don't get it.

There is probably a setting that is wrong. The left channel is the default for mono operation. Look in your user manual regarding "PAN" which controls the output going side to side. You MAY be "panned" clear to the right. When you plug into the left, it is the default so in spite of being panned right, they would send signal to the left IF nothing is plugged into right.

Hi . Please could you explain for me , I have formatted my netbook, and then the keyboard that I use on the netbook not works correctly. Left side of the keyboard works properly, right side doesn`t works...

The numlock must be ON - just press function key and Numlock key (Both must be in same colour - maybe Blue) and the keys should work - If the problem is solved then enter the BIOS setup and reset the Power on Numlock to OFF so that it will be off any time you start the windows.

Inspiron 5100 bios a32, keyboard

You can try reseating the keyboard connector. If that doesn’t work, the keyboard needs to be replaced. To reseat the keyboard connector, follow this link: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins5100/en/sm/keyboard.htm#1084976
Be sure to remove AC power and the Battery.

SCREEN TURNED TO LEFT WHEN I HIT KEYBOARD WITH BOOK COVER

1. If you right click on the desktop and look at graphics properties, or something similar to that, then you should get a menu for your display adapter control panel. Usually the screen rotation is right there. Sometimes it's as easy as a CTRL + arrow key combination, but I'd rather see you adjust it from a menu.

2. Ctrl-Alt-Up - right side up
Ctrl-Alt-Right - 90 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Down - 180 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Left - 270 degrees (If that doesn’t work, try Ctrl-Shift-R)

3. If you have the intel video chipset, I believe pressing CTRL+ALT+ one of the arrow keys should fix your problem.

I think it was ctrl+alt+right, but if that doesn't work, try the other three arrow keys.

However, if that doesn't work (especially if you do not have intel video), then right click on your desktop, go to properties, and go to the advanced tab. There you should find some setting that will allow you to reverse the rotation.
