Question about Cameras
My computer is showing me the following error message when I try to import photos from my camera sd card: the following error occurred while finding photos and videos to import: the filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. when I open up the dcim files, there are some new files showing with special character file names and some empty files with the same character file names and I cannot delete them.

In your case, you'd better go insert this camera SD card to another computer and see whether it is still recognizable there?
Also do an antivirus scan there? And then, go try to save or copy data out to have another try.
If such problems are really caused by some SD card problems, save data backups well and go repair this camera memory card latter.

I would try a different card in the camera, and format it before using.....if that works then you may have to use some special software to retrieve the photos off the bad card if they are important to you....
