SOURCE: Securing Bosch SHU 4300 under "hard" countertops

If this is a new Bosch Dishwasher then there should be two metal tabs that protrude from the top of the tub above the door. These tabs are for top mounting the dishwasher to a wood countertop, however these tabs also can be relocated to side mount the dishwasher to the cabinetry. The way to do this is to pull the dishwasher out of the hole it is in, in the counter (be careful not to pull too hard or to move the machine out too far due to the length of the water and electric lines). just pull it out easy till you can see the tabs, Now using a pair of pliers, bend the tabs on the backside of the mounts straight so you can remove them from the framing of the dishwasher. Next look at the tabs there should be a perforation where you can use 2 pairs of pliers to snap the tabs off at the perforation, after snapping off these tabs, look at the sides of the dishwasher and you will see a slot where you can reattach the tabs into, and bend the tabs in the back to hold them in place. If you look at the rubber gasket material on both sides of the machine - you can see where the round holes are located for side mounting. Attach the tabs and gently push the machine back into the cabinetry. Now using a small drill bit, drill a pilot hole into both sides of the cabinets to mount the dishwasher. You want to drill these pilot holes so as not to split the counter facing when you drill in the screws. Using the Bosch screws that came with the dishwasher (or small flat phillips screws) slowly screw in the screws into the sides of the cabinetry. When you attempt to remove the machine from the cabinetry you may find that it is adjusted tight to the countertop. If this is the case you will need to remove the 2 screws that hold the kickplate in at the bottom of the dishwasher in the front and remove the kickplate. Then you will need to bring up the front legs on both the left and the right and also the rear leg which is adjusted up and down by using a flat blade screwdriver. Look at the front of the dishwasher, behind the kickplate and there will be a adjusting screw with arrows which point left to right. the direction you turn this screw will determine which way the dishwasher will adjust,- right adjusts the machine higher and left lower. Good luck!!!!!! Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Dishwasher door won't open, latch seems broken

Hello, I read your comment. If the latch is broken, then I suggest first of all disconect the electricity from the dishwasher. You may want to try using a small screwdriver and insert it where the latch is to activate the opening mechanism. If it doesnt open, then there are two options, I suggest to call the technical service to replace the door with a new latch.

Hope I have been of help.

SOURCE: Jenn-Air Dishwasher Handle Loose

This worked perfectly for me. Follow the link that shows you which two screws to take out. It is one screw on each side of the inside door frame. One on the left and one on the right (not the top one, but the second one down). Then pull the door handle upward about 2 inches and the whole washer face comes up. Jiggle it off and tighten the handle. Only tricky thing is that you need a star screwdriver.

The problem I had in the beginning was that I took off the middle screws on top (cause that's what it looks like in the picture), but it's actually the side screws. Don't take them all off - just the two you need.

SOURCE: I have a Miele Inspira line dishwasher and it is

Hi If noise starts within one minute of start of program then you most likely have debris in drain pump. Under filter you will find non return valve remove valve this will expose drain pump impeller. with non return valve removed run program for 30 seconds refit valve and test. More in depth instructions available in user handbook.

How do i add salt to miele incognito?

There is a cap inside the dishwasher on the bottom right side, unscrew it and dump a full box of salt in. Clean up any spilled salt and run a rinse and hold cycle to remove any salt residue. Miele recommends using their own salt, available online at www.mieleusa.com or at a local Miele dealer. They don't recommend using water softener salt or table salt. For more help call their tech support at 800.999.1360, they are very helpful.

Hello,

You are correct on this style dishwasher the front panel will need to be removed in order to tighten the handle. Remove the screws around the edge of the door once off the panel will lift up and off.

There will be a bigger screw coming in from the back side, loosen and put a little lock tight on the threads and you will never have to take the dishwasher apart again, that trick works for me..

Have a good evening, I work at the link below to.

On my miele dishwasher i have a red light that warn you that Zu -/Ablauf

A usual problem that causes this problem is that the the rotor of the motor of the pressure pump sometimes stucks so it's capacitor doesn't have enough strength to start it.Its not a serious problem and you can fix it comparatively easily.
1.Make sure that you drain the water that might be still inside.
2.Remove the two hoses and the power plug and place the washer somewhere more convenient.
3.As you face it,till it and lay it on its right side.
4. Use a screw driver to unscrew the four bolts that hold the left cover and then unscrew another four of it's bottom that are placed next to its legs.
5.The pump motor is placed down and back in its left side so now you must have it in front of you.
6. There are some black hoses connected on it.Use pliers to remove them and also a bolt on the back of the dishwasher that holds the motor of its back center.
7. Now you must be able to tilt the motor( you don't have to remove it completely ) towards you in order to make accessible it's back side.
8.Put the screwdriver in its back and try to rotate the rotor with it and unstuck it. It needs minimum strength.
9.Repeat the steps backwards.
Will work with no problem.Usualy this problem appears after a long period of time of no use.
Good luck :)

The ventilation outlet for drying fan has recently become quite noisy and when it has finished and the door is then open it leaves a puddle of water on the floor which it hasn't done before. It doesn't do...

This happens every year or two. Take off the outside front panel to access the hose that runs from the bottom of the fan down to the dispenser, and lets the water drain out through it to the interior. Clean out that hose as well as you can. Replace. This is a stupid problem that Miele should have a permanent fix for. Grrrr.

are there not any tabs at the top of the dishwasher to mount it to the underside of the countertop? Most dishwashers mount this way to keep them from wanting to tip over.

How do i remove front panel on incognito dishwasher

If you have SCVi you have a steel panel. You'll find 4 Holes, 2 on each side covered by plastic caps. They have "TORX 15" screws inside. The screws control locking cams that are tightly pinching 4 hooks from the fascia panel. It's very similar to hanging up a coat hanger. Turn each screw 5-7 times counter-clockwise (lefty loosy). The locking cam will traverse outward releasing the pinch. The fascia panel will now lift out. The cam is now loose. While servicing care must be taken to avoid moving the cams inside the door.
Re-assemble in reverse order. Make sure the panel drops into place before locking the screws. The panel will first go towards the rear of the dishwasher then drop down about 1/4". If the panel does not drop, one or more of the cams is in the way. Remove the panel and reset the cam by looking into each slot with a flashlight and pushing the cams towards the outer edge of the door based on which side it's on. Lock the cam screws clockwise once the panel is hanging squarely on the door and re-seat the plastic covers.

Hello,
It sounds like the leak is coming from the water intake hose.
The water intake house is located at the bottom sump of the dishwasher. To get to it the dishwasher has to be taken out and put on its back and the floor plan needs to come off. The intake hose runs from the inlet valve under your sink and attaches to the sump with a metal keeper. Overtime the part of the hose where the keeper is cracks (Normal wear and tear). As I recall the intake hose runs approx. $129.99 from Miele direct. It comes with an inlet valve on the hose. there is no separate or substitute hose you can use.

Good luck

How do I adjust the door of the dishwasher so that it doesn't fall completely open

There is a T20 screw located above the tub (open door to view) toward the left side. Tighten this screw a turn at a time, testing the apparrent door weight between turns until the door is neutral.

Miele G858 Icognito replace bottom door seal...how to remove door

Kelly --

Since you wrote your question 13 months ago, I'm guessing the problem is solved. Still, for others experiencing the same issue, here's my answer.

We also experienced leaking on our Miele 858 Incognito dishwasher and were able to replace the bottom door seal (today) without removing the door.

First, call the Miele Parts Dept @ 800-999-1360 to place an order for the door seal, which is part #3920725.

Remove the defective seal by loosening the four screws at the bottom of the door. Pull the black rubber seal out and discard. Install the new part in the same spot (underneath the green flange). Tighten the screws and you'll be in business.
