If your shaver works but will not longer hold a charge as long as it should, the batteries need to be replaced. If the shaver is dead and the green indicator no longer illuminates when plugged in, you have waited too long and the circuit board is now damaged and can not be repaired.

I have 6520. when i plug it into a wall jack i does not charge and does not show power from the wall jack any more. this means when the battery is out it will not work any more. please help

Model 6520: If the green light no longer illuminates when you plug it in, you have waited too long to address the battery problem and the circuit board is now damaged. Replacing the batteries alone will not help as it will still not be able to recharge. To repair, you will need a new circuit board but Braun has discontinued for this model. You will be lucky to find one at this date.

model 5520, 5525, 5550, 6520, 6525 and 6550 are all prone to this problem when you neglect batteries that no longer charge correctly. It is suggested that batteries be changed early on when you notice that they are a problem instead of running your shaver from the cord until it dies.

Capacity of recharge went down to from 60 to 20 min after 3 years of usage. How to open for battery replacement.

You will find compatible batteries for model 6520 at See link below. You will need two

To open shaver, remove the two round screw covers on the bottom by prying them out. Remove screws underneath. Slide outer case off the bottom. You may need to reposition the lock to get it all the way off. Inside, you will need to unsnap and remove the black cover to access the batteries. For easier replacement, it is suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries rather than unsoldering them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can then solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs
If you are not able to repair the shaver yourself, can do it for you. See link below

Shaver stopped working today--no green light or movements even when connected to cord battery has not been holding charge the past year for repairs--how to ship and do you give estimates before...

Here is an equivalent circuit diagram good enough to repair the circuit board - What I have found is that the batteries go bad, draw too much current and blow the fuse or in the case of mine, over current the transistors. Resistors are in ohms

Battery is fine - but green light showing recharge is no longer lighting and no electricity is getting to battery. It has NEVER been dropped or mishandled. Shaves fine but only on minimal battery power...

Assuming that your cord is not damaged, the circuit board is bad. This most often happens when you continue to use the shaver well after the batteries have lost their ability to hold a charge well.
You will find a new circuit board for model 6520 at See link below

No power

The motor brushes may be bad. Take the screen off and turn the shaver on. Manually move the blade back and forth a bit and see if it starts to engage. If it begins to run when you do this, the brushes are worn. Braun does not make replacement motors for your shaver
