Push the Sel button and hold for 3 seconds (usually displays Demo or Demo Off). Push the Station up and down button til it reads Clock H or Clock M. Turn the volume button to adjust time. Push the Sel button to quit.

Your wires are probably backwards. the yellow one is for memory and it gets wired to direct battery voltage to hold the memory. The red wire is for power when key is turned on.

Press and hold 'SEL' press down arrow until CLOCK H is displayed rotate Volume knob to adjust press down arrow once to display CLOCK M rotate Volume knob to adjust press 'SEL' to finish. Reference pages 6 and 10 in this link to your JVC KD-G120 Instructions Manual.

To store the presets Go to the station you would like then press and hold the Memory button that you would like to store it under for more than 2 sec. Or you can go to the link below for the manual and on page 6 and 7 will tell you how to store the station.
