To get a proper suggestion, you have to include the make & model of the machine/coffee maker.

SOURCE: coffee maker won't brew

This one has two AUTO dial settings - AUTO-ON and AUTO-OFF. AUTO-OFF merely keeps the hot plate warm for a fixed period of time. AUTO-ON is the one that allows your coffeemaker to go off at the pre-programmed time in the morning.

If it is set to AUTO-ON, but is not brewing at the set time, unplug the machine for longer than 20 minutes. Then plug it back in, reset the clock, reset the prog time for a time that is just a few minutes into the future, and then test the auto-on feature.

If it stil ldoes not brew, just turn the machine to brew and press on. If it brews a pot, then your problem is electrical. If it doesn't brew a pot on the regular brew setting, then you either have: A) Calcium buildup/clog, or B) a hose leak (or worse).

To rule out the calcium buildup possibility, let half a caraffe worth of vinegar sit in the water reservoir for about an hour. After the hour, turn it to brew and press on, and brew the vinegar just as if it were coffee. If the vinegar goes through, your problem is solved.

Otherwise, call Cuisinart and find out if you are still in-warranty. Thep roduct has a 3-year warranty.

Good luck!

SOURCE: Light keeps flashing and water will not heat

there is a float at the side of the machine by the water level, if the float gets stuck the red light will continue to flash even though water is present. Use a magnet on the outside of the machine by the water and float level and raise the float when connected to the magnet and the light will stop flashing red rapidly

SOURCE: WIll not brew

Try this, worked for me:

Just today we've found that at the first water intake (on my B60, that's where the water container plugs into the base) on the base is a little circle valve type thing. That's where the water gets sucked out of the tank. Shine a flashlight into that circle, and you'll see a screen type thing there. It's like the screen in your faucet when you unscrew the tip and there are little rocks and stuff in it? Same principle: there were cotton fibers and other assorted weird stuff clogging that screen. Used a toothpick or a needle and removed all the debris from the screen, and it now works perfectly!

SOURCE: Coffee not brewing after grinding

After grinding did you hear the brew group goes up and pump start? If you hear the pump start and stopped, itis blockage in the brewunit metal screen. Just needs cleaning.
If you don't hear the pump starting, the problem is with the faulty micro switch inside the gearbox , that is behind the plate of brewunit.(service center job)

SOURCE: coffee maker beeping

Is your grinder in and the lid down? My coffee maker (grind & brew) started beeping after I cleaned it and turned the left knob clockwise with the grinder still disassembled. There's a little button that is depressed when you close the lid with the grinder in there (I'd guess it's a safety feature). I pressed down that button, and the beeping went away.

Single serve flashes but does not brew

It's always best to give the model number of the appliance when asking questions about problems. Here's what a general troubleshooting procedure that might find the problem:

(1) Every once in a while an air bubble may get trapped in the water path. Lift off the reservoir, then put it back into place.
(2) Turn off and unplug the brewer for a couple of minutes or more. When you plug the brewer back in, be sure to turn the power back on.
(3) Make sure the water reservoir is properly in place, and perform a Rinse cycle.
(4) After placing the K-Cup® in the K-Cup® Holder, make sure the handle is pushed down securely and the LCD control panel reads READY. The and buttons, Brew, Hot Water, and Rinse buttons will be illuminated. Then press any of the lit buttons.
(5) If the LCD control panel indicates ADD WATER, check to make sure the water reservoir is properly filled. If not, add water. If so, make sure the water reservoir is properly seated in its base.
(6) If the LCD control panel indicates ADD WATER even after refilling and checking the base, contact Customer Service at 1-800-726-0190.
(7) The exit needle may be clogged (refer to page 19).

Why are all lights flashing on my keurig kcup maker

lights are flashing because you need to decide how big of a 'cup' you want to brew. When you push one of the flshing brew buttons, the unit will brew and the lights will then stay on steady until you reopen and add a new K-cup.

Small cup, add water, heating lights keep flashing after brew

I had this problem too.
I just pressed the small brew button; it pulled some water from the reservoir and heated it but nothing came out. Then I opened and closed the top cop thing and both the cup sizes were flashing and it worked like normal again.
