Phone will not stay set once I perform all functions and it does not talk

I purchased 2 of your Talking Caller ID LCD touch-panel phones #1604007. They do not anounce the caller nor will it stay set. I put new batteries in it at least they were just purchased.

Please help as I like the phones but can't deal with them not doing as stated. I had to return 2 because of the same problem this is getting too costly to have to drive over 35-40 returning these phones at the price of gas.

Determine whether it is possible to substitute an AC power adapter ["wally"] for the short-lived batteries. I believe the correct voltage is 4.5, replacing three 1.5 volt batteries.

Need Manual

Innovage is probably not a manufacturer. Just brand over some others product. Try to find out whos. If you can.

Shift 3 Talking Caller ID LCD Touch-Panel Phone

I have just purchased the Shift3 Talking Caller ID Phone. For some reason, the talking caller ID function does not work, i.e., no announcement is made identifying the number of the person calling. The "Set 8 Speech" is set "on". Any suggestions to getting this to work?
