Why is it my Microsoft office disabled all the tools so cannot use it now, then i try to reinstall it says "insert the Microsoft office xp professional with fronpage"

go into control panel and add or remove programs and completely uninstall it, then restart the computer and reinstall. sometimes installs just go wrong and u gotta start over. before trying this, if office installed ANYTHING, it may have installed a diagnostic tool. try going to "start" "all programs" "Microsoft office" "microsoft office tools" then click on "microsoft office diagnostics" follow the instructions and if that doesn't work try the uninstall

Uninstall the Microsoft Office from the Add Remove Program's then restart ur computer & install the Microsoft office again.

The ccCommon file is indeed related to the Microsoft Installer, which all applications use to install applications in Windows.

Try using the Office 2003 removal tool. Just download the Office 2003 Editions Resource Kit at this link. It's called ork.exe:

After it's installed followed these directions:

To locate the tool, click the Start button, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Office, point to Microsoft Office Tools, point to Microsoft Office Resource Kit, and then click Removal Wizard.

Then follow the on screen instructions that will walk you through the removal. After Office is completely removed, restart and try to reinstall.

Office XP has to be installed for the proofing tools 2002 installation. Apparently you had Office XP installed and Office 2003 will work with prior versions of office software. Try re-installing your Office XP software.

you need to reinstall also your microsoft office in order to reactivate. if the reinstallation was only repair it won't damage your microsoft office

If you have tried to repair it the only solution now is to reinstall it. If that dont work save all your documents uninstall the product then reinstall. There are no activation for microsoft products earlier than 2002.
