Question about Computers & Internet
There is a password set up on the hudl but it won't move on to the add a user stage. I feel we may need to do a factory reset but I can't find how to do that. I have used the backup section from settings to remove all data and restart it that way but it has not made a difference. Thanks for any advice x
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hello, The default address for the dell truemobile 1184 is 192.168.2.1 If you have changed it and forgot, unplug the router (elec) for 5 seconds. This will reset it to default. The default SSID is "wireless". If a user ID and/or password is asked for enter "admin". Here you can change settings, enable broadcast, change SSID, enable WEP or WPA. Hope this helps.

I have just bought a new remote control for mine from a company on ebay who do copies of remotes which are macine specific, as I have the same problem. It cost me a tenner plus delivery, so I will let you know if this works, as the only way I know of to get rid of this is to use the remote.

To restore factor settings, press the F2 key during power on to enter the setup menu. You can reset to factory defaults form there.
If you find that you get repeated messages indicating that the CMOS memory is corrupt then you should replace the CMOS battery. Service info here.
