Indoor antennas are terrible unless you are about a block away from the transmitter. Any external outdoor antenna will be a great improvement over what you are planning.

How do I hook up an indoor antenna to my Sanyo TV

There is a threaded connector marked cable/antenna. You use this connection to attach the antenna cable. Then you do a channel scan with the tuner set to antenna not cable.

Indoor antenna won't work on my cable ready set

You do have to make sure to switch the settings to an external antenna. You also will have to check that you have what is an analog signal available to you. If you antenna is analog it will only get analog broadcast. You may also need to switch to a digital tv antenna, The other thing is the range of you antenna. Most indoors, in a congested area will only pull in signal from about 20 to 25 miles out.

How to get rca indoor antenna to pick up free digital channels on my Samsung television

Indoor antennas are not very good if you live far away from the TV transmitter. Antenna aim has to be more precise than before with analog TV's. If you can put up an outside antenna you'll probably get them all.

Model #ds19310 only receives one channel with indoor antenna will a powered indoor antenna work?

Yes it will help. Also try moving the antenna you are using to other parts of the house. I.E. near a window, that sort of thing.

I have tried two different antennas and the screen says that the signal is weak I bought the TV today

If you're using an indoor antenna (rabbit ears), you'll find that there's little difference between them. Yes, you'll see all the fancy knobs, but mostly all they do is delay the signal from making it to your antenna jack, hopefully enough to reduce ghosting on analog channels...or a resistor circuit that reduces the signal strength. Receiving a good signal with an indoor antenna can be difficult...there can be obstacles between your tv and the broadcasting station, you could be too far away...it's hard to tell. Before you use an outdoor antenna (consider a good RV antenna if you need to use it indoors), try an antenna amplifier. It'll have to handle both VHF (at one time channels 2-13) and UHF (channels 14-69 analog). If it's an "antenna amplifier," it will be sufficient. If it's a cable amp, it would be a hit-or miss. The amp may be able to boost your signal with the indoor antenna you have now. Alternately, you can buy an indoor antenna with the amp built in. Hope this helps.

Indoor antenna problem with Magnavox LCD TV Model 15MF605T/17

I have found most of these indoor antennae to be ineffective and a waste of money, however, I do not know anything about this particular antennae. I to have a Dish DTVpal, which I love! It's ugly and probably won't fit in your kitchen, but the best solution is to make your own "bow-tie" antennae, mount it indoors or on the roof and run a cable to the kitchen. Directions can be found on You-Tube. I live in SE Idaho (Pocatello) and can get 13 channels, most without having to adjust the antennae.

'Clear' can mean different things-
The 'front end' of TV sets can differ greatly in the sensitivity of its tuner.  If you have 'snow,' then the new set is inferior to your previous one and you may need to buy an external broadband amplifier to boost the signal before it goes to the TV. The quality of antenna inputs has declined since there are fewer owners (by percentage) who depend on 'over the air' reception. Cable companies and satellite receivers supply a lot more signal than can your antenna so the input sensitivity is not as critical as it once was.
The demo sets one sees at retailers are fed a lot of signal and have for that reason a better picture than you might find after getting a set home.

Digital signal conversion

If you have cable TV, satellite TV, or FIOS, the coupon eligible converter boxes aren't needed and aren't useful with those services.
They gov't coupon converter boxes are only good for reception with a regular TV antenna or rabbit ears.

According to the specs on epinions.com, no, this TV does not have a digital tuner. So, if you use a rooftop TV antenna (not satellite dish) or an indoor TV antenna, you WILL need an ATSC to NTSC converter box. You need not wait until next year, however, as most U.S. TV stations are also broadcasting digital (ATSC) now.
