First here is the link to a good suuplier with OEM parts for 110 and 220 volt http://www.appliancezone.com/SearchProducts.aspx?ID=9707627&x=12&y=7

you can change any KA mixer from 110 to 220 and 220 to 110, you need the armature stato phase control board and speed swith for eith conversion, the 220 madel number or 220 model has a letter in front of the ka which is the indicator for 220 volt go to http://www.kitchenaid.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/OCManualsLiteratureSearchResultView?catalogId=10552&langId=-1&storeId=10202 for a exploded parts list and part numbers look any where for a KA 220 volt model and you can find the same thing

you have an internal gear problem if you continue to us it you can damage other gears and increase your repair parts needs. go here to get a parts list for your model and start the tear down to find the culprit
http://www.kitchenaid.com/customer-service/manuals/
then order your part from eBay or several site on the internet that sell KA parts like "Seneca River Trading or mending shed" then re-assemble. Parts will be anywhere from $6.00 to $20.00 USD. hope this helps

Replacement beaters West Bend 41036

The official parts source for West Bend advises that replacement parts for this product are no longer available.

You might try making an inquiry from this site; they also list these parts as no longer available, but perhaps they can reommend a compatible repalcement:

http://www.abtecparts.com/parts_enquiry.htm

Failing that suggest you take your old beaters to a small appliance repair shop and see if they can source a compatible replacement.

I have a Kenmore stand mixer that needs a new bowl. The mixer model # is 400.82573. The part number is 3140-012-0000

Sorry to say, the part is no longer available from the Sears parts site, and no substitute exists. Unless you can find a bowl from some other brand and model, or just a suitably-sized mixing bowl, you're out of luck.

How do I get an owners manual for Kitchen Aid Ultra Power Model KSM90 stand mixer? I was given the used mixer and I do not know the frist thing about it.

Hi PASTYJOHN, it's very easy to download both the Owners Manual and Parts List manual for your KA mixer. You can download a PDF version from the KA website at: http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/home.

Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals& Guides> then enter the visitor type "Consumer" and enter the 6 character model number, in this case KSM90P, where you can choose one of the three size files under Owners Manuals (20). Since there are three versions - 191.99 KB, 2730.37 KB or 3230.97 KB, I would download all three and save the one you feel is best for your needs. Similarly, I would also download a parts list manual, too. Since the Parts List manuals are exactly the same you can choose any one of the 16 available to download and save.

Good luck, I hope this helps. Howard, Burke, VA, USA

The insulation on the cord has deteriorated. Where can I get it replaced? Every site tells me to take it to Sears, but they won't repair it because I didn't buy it there.

Hi LOSCHR. If you are DITY type person, and feel adventurous, this is a very simple part replacement you can do yourself. I’ll assume your mixer is no longer under warranty.
Be sure you have the Parts List manual on hand. If you're lacking one, you can download it from the KA website http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/home.
Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals & Guides> Enter the 6 character model number, in your case use K45SSW select Parts List (1) and then check to see it this matches your mixer model).
Turn to pages 6 & 7, titled: Motor And Control Parts for the disassembly and reassembly of your mixer, along with all the parts. Locate Illus. No. 26 Power Cord, White (Part # 9701015). This is what you need to replace.
Here are five potential vendors in no particular order: RepairClinic.com; mendingshed.com; searspartsdirect.com; partstore.com; and Grainger.com. Prices can vary widely between vendors, so do your comparison shopping.
Finally, here are some links to several excellent websites that detail the disassembling/reassembly of a KA Mixer.
Between these three websites and their excellent pictures and descriptions and your Parts List manual, you should now be able to completely disassemble and reassemble your mixer, should you decide to go that route.
If you feel replacing your power cord is beyond your capability, then I would seek out a local small appliance repair shop in your area. KA Customer Care can give you names of local KA authorized repair shops in your area, but you can also do an online search to supplement what KA may provide you. Call to explain your circumstances and find out their hourly rate and get an estimate of what they think it would cost to repair your mixer. Also, always obtain three or more estimates – do some comparison shopping.
Good luck and have fun. I hope this helps. Howard, Burke, VA

WERE DO YIU GET TECH MANUAL

Hi, EMININES. KA does not provide a tech manual, per se. They do offer their mixer’s Owner’s Manual and Parts Manuals on line, and with the help of some very good web site links, you should be able to service your KA mixer. You can download a PDF version from the KA website: http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/home.
Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals & Guides> Enter the 6 character model number, in your case use KSM50P, and select the first file listed under Parts List (4) and then check to verify the illustrations match your mixer.
Here are some links to several excellent websites that detail the disassembling/greasing and reassembly of a KA Mixer.
Between these three websites and their excellent pictures and descriptions and your Parts List manual, you should now be able to completely disassemble and reassemble your mixer.
Good luck and have fun. I hope this helps. Howard, Burke, VA
