You need to determine whether the problem is in the solenoid or in the furnace electronics. You could put a voltmeter on the solenoid connection to see if the furnace is still holding the solenoid open after the blower stops. This will tell you whether it is the solenoid or not.

When your unit is on normal the outside unit works and the inside only the fan runs. your heat pump does not remove any humidity when it operates so the installation cotractor did not wire it to operate then. you can change the wiring on the humidifier to operate all the time by wiring it to the fan (g) terminal then it should work just turn it all the way to the lowest humidity when you are in cooling mode.

SOURCE: Fan running but no water flow
the humidistat on this unit just acts as a set of dry contacts. with the humidifier plugged in, you should be able to touch the 2 brown wires by the water solenoid together and get the power fan to run and the water solenoid to enrgize. if you do this and water does not flow, you most likely have a bad water soenoid. it is either electrically bad, or just plugged with water deposits. sometimes you can pull it apart and clean it, sometimes you just have to replace the solenoid.

This sounds like, the 550 transformer is not connected to the blower motor power connection (in parallel)

A bad circuit board should not make any noises. A bad solenoid valve could make a loud buzzing noise. If the noise is a squealing noise then you have defective bearings in the blower motor.
If you disconnect the low voltage wiring from the solenoid valve and you still hear the noise, then its not the solenoid valve.
