Bios password reset

When you boot up to the log in screen type in administrator as user to log in if you cant log in

during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there

The most common way that we know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the Cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard.

Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip.

So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased.

hope this helps

The model that you have posted here I can't find.

Click on the link that I have provided below and click on "Live Update" this will check your system for the correct device drivers. Just follow the instructions to get the drivers for the motherboard.

Every time I on my PC it appears in screen unknown bios error. error code 8302 press f1 to resume

You need to flash your bios before it becomes totally corrupted. You are losing small bits of information that your motherboard needs to continue functioning.
I have what i believe is the proper page for your bios, but your exact model doesn't show up when I search the site, so the best solution for your problem is the MSI live bios update located at the bottom of this webpage:

Simply install that and allow it to automatically fix your bios for you.

How do i get rid of a blaster bug located in the bios , MSI k9a2 cf board without going on the internet with this computer, phenom 3 core proc, tried a antivirse software , nothing found, formated HD

Try using a good Antivirus software like McAfee, PCCilline, Norton Antivirus, NOD32 etc. First download the Antivirus and install then update it. In most cases such problems are solved. (

You really need to provide more data if you want help. What type of component is the MSI SAVGA? What is your computer - a notebook, desktop, server? Is the component a graphics adapter, or something else? Will be glad to help if you can provide more information.

NTLDR is missing in my computer

firstly check your bios settings
the pc may be trying to boot from another source rather than the hard disk. (cd rom maybee)

if thats not the case

you can set the pc to boot from the windows cd and go thro the recovery consol
  1. When prompted to press any key to boot from the CD, press any key.
  2. Once in the Windows XP setup menu press the "R" key to repair Windows.
  3. Log into your Windows installation by pressing the "1" key and pressing enter.
  4. You will then be prompted for your administrator password, enter that password.
  5. Copy the below two files to the root directory of the primary hard disk. In the below example we are copying these files from the CD-ROM drive letter "E". This letter may be different on your computer.

    copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
    copy e:\i386\ c:\

  6. Once both of these files have been successfully copied, remove the CD from the computer and reboot.

the easyest fix for you is to re-install windows
this file is the nt leader file

hope this helps

My msi vis p4m800 motherboard don't support two ram

Hi, does your board have 2 diferent color RAM slots?

if it does you must install the RAM in the same color slots.

If not then you have the option of buying a 512 stick of RAM and installing that as a quick fix. The other alternative is to have your board tested by a technician.
