SOURCE: purchased a used earth stove mp240 pellet stove

The auger motor is fed through a high temp. limit thermostat. It has a manual reset on the back of it that you have to press on firmly to reset it. Open the side panel on the stove and find the wiring. You will see the thermostat on the back side of the combustion chamber. Look very closely and reset it.
good luck!

SOURCE: GE refrigerator model GSS22 WGMD ice maker motor

If you cant manually turn your auger motor, it may be bad. Does it dispense solid ice or no ice at all? Another thing may be your control panel. That could be bad too, it's the one sending juice to both your solenoid and auger motor.

Do you have a user's manual? Most pellet stoves need to be lit before starting the auger to sustain the fire.

How do i fix ager on my pellet stove?

Hello Ethan, First I would uncouple and remove the auger motor from the auger shaft. Next turn the stove on to see if the auger motor turns. If it does turn, try to hold the motor shaft with your hand to determine if the motor has sufficient torque to turn the auger. If motor seems to be strong enough , use a pair of pliers or a vise grips and try to rotate the auger shaft. If the auger will not turn, it might be clogged up with pellets or pellet dust. The clog will have to be removed. If that is the case, I think the gears in the motor are stripped and a new motor is in order. Note: Damp pellets swell up and turn hard as concrete when they dry out.

Pinnacle Pellet stove augre gets stuck

hmm, could be low power to the motor, heavier power cord, or it's possible the auger needs new bushing/bearings, wiggle the auger to see if it has any play in it OR it's fussy about the size of pellets it made to feed. please send pictures and or results.

Combustion fan isn't running

Ther is a guy names Murphy that it resposible for that. Go back through the steps you used to change the auger motor and see if maybe there was a wire left out or if the combustion motor is also out. What caused the outage? If a voltage spike, it could have taken them both out. The only other thing I can think of is a main switch somewhere. Good luck...Lee

The buzzing is possibly your exhaust/combustion blower. This blower is the fan sound you hear as the stove starts up. If you ARE hearing a NORMAL fan sound, then the buzzing could be the auger motor. Do you have a Foxfire with an igniter? This tells me the series of model you have and what control system it uses.
