Go into the tool bar and stop grammar and punctuation
spelling is a straight red line under a misspelt word
check for spacing , grammar, punctuation to eliminate the line
right click on the word and the correction will appear

Add the correct spelling to dictionary by right-clicking on the correct spelling of your name (Probably Microsoft word underlines it with red) Then select add to dictionary.

Keeps underlining in red when using ms word

One thing you probably will have noticed is the spelling mistakes in the letter. You should have typed the letter exactly as it was, and left any spelling errors in. More than likely, the spelling mistakes are underlined in red in your document. Anything with a wiggly green line under it is a grammatical error, (or what Microsoft Word insists is a grammatical error). You can turn these off and on if you like. To Turn the wiggly red and green lines on and off, do the following.

Hi dtennant

Blue lines indicate that Word has auto-corrected a word. To undo the change move the cursor over the blue line and left click the lightning bolt. Select 'Change back to'. Or to stop Word correcting that word again select 'Stop Automatically Correcting'

Does this help?
