Seals are shot. Probably best to get a new machine. Compare cost for replacement parts to new machine. If it's close enough, when you buy a new machine, you'll get all new parts. Good luck and don't burn yourself!

Filter change

this was absolutely the problem with my Jura Capressa E-8 machine. I followed instructions after changing the filter. I opened tap-machine stated that it was filling system- I closed tap when instruction. The open tap remained on because no water was filling system. I took the frother tip off and opened tap. Water filled system (container under frother). I closed tap without the frother tip. Machine Ready.... (I heated water in microwave for three minutes) I placed the frother tip in there and used a wooden skewer to ensure frother was clear of debris... Worked like a charm!

The machine needs to fill up the system. Open the valve for steam/hot water

Machine leaks abundant water from the bottom when it is on. Also, coffee quality is not the same, it is watery.

I think you have minimum 2 problems with this machine. The leakage could be from the thermoblock, and you might have to change this. And, the watery coffee is from the grinder is worn out, this also needs to be changed.
Sorry!

I have a Jura Capresso Impressa E8. Was working great....put in storage for a year, now water comes out of the bottom of the machine, and not the spouts. Tried cleaning with Duro solution to no avail. I s...

It may be the diaphragm pump controls for the law including seals. The diaphragm control is located on the pump output and adjusts the line pressure, thus the water flow more even and the pump noise quieter. Check if it is leaking from the front right corner, that is where the diaphragm pump control unit is. The seals may have degraded. Or it could be one of the water lines but I'd start there.

Jura Z5 - no water being sucked up through the system

If you are holding the filled water tank in your hands does it leak? If no then the o-ring in the bottom of the hole on the machine where the tank sits is damaged.
If yes then check the spring and o-ring on the bottom of tank.

Float in the water reservoir no longer floats. Therefore, get "message fill with water" but already full.

I poured vinegar in the reservoir and it dislodged the float. I then was able to fill the system by pushing the steam button. THen I ran the vinegar through the system. Saved me $220. Yippie!

E8 leak

If leaking water from right front when brewing, cleaning or steam then the possible problem is the feed tube from the pressure pump this is mounted with a small o-ring and either the pipe is fractured or the o-ring has perished.
