How do I remove back cover from Vizio E601i-a3 60" tv once all screws are removed? Still seems tight around the edges? Thanks

Afraid to apply too much force so I don't break the cover.

Your warranty is voided as soon as cover comes off. If it is out of warranty and you have no other choice... There are locking tabs you need to press in to remove the back cover. BE SURE ALL SCREWS HAVE BEEN REMOVED....THERE ARE A LOT OF HIDDEN ONES.

Testimonial: "Thanks Daniel. The TV is five years old and out of warranty. I broke the coax cable input while moving the TV. Didn't get anywhere with Vizio so decided to try and replace it myself."

I replaced the T-con board on my Vizio TV, but I still don't have any picture, just sound. What else could it be?

Think something may have gotten unhooked when you put everything bacK together? Check out all connections and ribbons between boards for proper contact.

Remove Back

Most larger TV's are screwed around the edges and at the bottom and are pretty obvious so I presume you are dealing with a smaller set. First remove the stand and all visible screws on the back and check around input points like scart and HDMI for securing screws there. Once all the visible screws have been removed try to pop the back off as you would on a remote handset starting from the middle of a side, go slowly and with care, some sets are very tightly clicked into place

Wind top AE1900 AIO MS-6638. how to replace hard disk

To remove back leg: pull off round end caps where leg connects to back (pressure fit). Then remove black stickers covering screw holes at base of leg. Under stickers are 4 screws - remove and lift off leg assembly.

Remove back cover: remove 7 black screws from back (one hiding under warranty sticker). Lift back from bottom edge (pressure connections on top edge). Back cover will catch on cd/dvd tray door - bend slightly to get around.

Under back cover is metal cover. Remove screws from around edge holding back cover on (note that most screws you will see in pairs - only remove the one holding the metal cover, not the one holding the chassis). Lift off metal cover.

You should now see hdd. One screw holding in position - remove screw, slide out hdd (it will have a metal frame around it). HDD is a 2.5" laptop style.

Swap out hdd from its frame, then re-assemble.

How do i get the back panel off a vizio vx42l tv?

Lay the tv on a bed face down to keep from hurting the screen. remove screws from base, remove base. Remove about 20 screws all around the back and beneath where cables plug in. Keep screws in neat stacks as some are different (you want to put correct screws back in right place). The back lifts off (it kinda takes some jingling to pop lose) after all screws removed.

Take the back cover off a LCD Television

Take out all screws around the outer edge and the smaller screws just above your video conections and dont forget the 6 large screws for the mount in the center. It should just lift off.

Back of tv

Yes, start with unpluging the set. lol remove the lower rear cover first by removing all of the screws around the oustside edges, left-right-top-and next to the input panel. then remove all the screws around the edge of the top of rear cover. Be carefull because the top rear cover contains the mirror!! There is no way to make the bottom of the set any smaller other than removing the speaker grill in front. (usually this is just a snap-on cover.

I need help with disassembly of Vizio GV42L LCD TV

remove all the screws and start at the bottom and push in the tabs, and work around the edges, being careful not to pry too hard, the cover has clips all around the tv. after the bottom is free and one of the corners the cover will kind of pop off if you use the palm of your hand and lightly tap as you apply sum upward pressure.

Acer 5315-2713 add memory card

OK, In general for the 5315 series, the memory replacement should be roughly the same.
You seem to have an idea what you're doing, so here's a little specifics:

Here's what you see once you get the giant "thermal door" cover off. To remove the cover, first, remove the four screws. Now carefully slip a thin tool like a table knife under the edge of the cover where the indent is and work around towards the front and back of the laptop.
DON'T pry along the side towards the side of the laptop or you'll break those longer tabs. That's the edge which goes in first when you replace the cover.

The RAM pops out easily by spreading the clips on either side.
