Just so you know I have an unlocked Iphone..I use my Iphone with Tmobile...All i did was pop my Tmobile sim card in..I have been using it with Tmobile ever since I got my Iphone(s)...But I had a problem after I took my sim out and put ATT sim card in to try and switch my service..But thanks anyways

Have you inserted the Sim correctly. The Sim goes in with the gold plated contact facing down and the cut corner of the sim on the bottom right corner showing when inserted.

I actually work for a cell phone company as a tech....all you have to do is have your ATT phone unlocked! You will need to contact ATT on another phone (not the phone you're trying to unlock!) and let them know that you need an unlock code for your ATT device...they should be able to give you the unlock and instructions to unlock your device...if anything just the unlock code (if you have had previous service or service with ATT)...if they can't give it too you right away on the phone they will have to send off your information to the manufacture and will get you the unlock code within 3-5 buisness days. (if you have had previous service or service with ATT)...I can't stress enough that you must have an account or use to have an account with ATT...they don't do if for free because all carriers are charged everytime they request unlock codes. If they can't get it for you. You can get it unlocked by a 3rd party vendor that will charge a small fee to unlock your device, but make sure your sim card works in it before you leave the vendor to make sure they are legit and actually unlocked it for you! If its a new card, have you formatted it in the phone? (go to Menu, Settings, Phone Settings, Memory Manager, External Memory then click on the Format button).
To activate its use, go to Menu, Settings, Phone Settings, Memory Manager, Primary Storage Setting and select External Memory.

I am a tmobile customer and it works for me. One thing I know to make sure your SIM card insert position. For SIM card slot at the bottom, make sure the gold-colored contact facing upward. For SIM card slot at the top, make sure gold-colored contact facing downward. At the first time, I put it in a wrong position and gave me the 'No service" error. Good luck
