SOURCE: We have oil smell through the whole house. We can hardly breath. What is causing It?

Blocked vent stack or wind blowing the wrong way. Chimney need cleaning? Try opening a window a crack. It can make it better or worse.

Will start and run for ten mins then dies. If I wait ten mins will run again. Fuel filter is empty when it dies

Sounds like you got the wrong filter. There are filters for fuel pump tractors and filters for Gravity fed engines. I had the same problem when I changed my filter. I had to get one that was gravity fed

Front oil seal leak

never guess here.
oil leaks,
no engine stated, nor year, so you wont get good advice.
mines a v6 2.5L
on most suz engines, front leaks can be.
1: top front of valve cover seal. leaks. then gravity does its thing.
2: top cap seal
3: bottom seal
4: pan seal,
5: pump seals.
doing all on a guess. is $$$$$$$$
what we do is clean it all , run for 10 miles, and see what really leaks.
use the UV dye kit. and find it.
you have gravity and air currents that form a chaos. there.
so only those 2 work.

We have just had a wood burner stove fitted at some cost and we seem to have rather a lot of smoke smell in the room we thought with a stove this wood eliminate this . .

You won't be able to eliminate all smoke odors with any woodburning system that I am aware of. On a new installation it's possible that part of the smell is coming from light oil coatimg on stove from manufacturer burning off. I would also check setting on damper, and make sure chimney is clean. On manual damper I set them at full open at start. Then when I have a good hot fire going I shut mine down to 3/4. I would do some trial and error to find what works the best for you. I hope this helps. Thanks

Gravity fed toilet cistern-no water feed.

First I would disconnect the supply line and see if I have water to that point. If so, than take apart or replace the ballcock or float valve. If not continue to trace problem backward untill found. Hope this helps.

My 106821A 10" Remington electric chain saw leaks oil heavily when stored. Suggestions?

According to the manufacturer... Saw has a gravity-fed oiling system and it is normal for oil to “slowly” seep when saw is not in use. Empty tank after each use to prevent seepage. If you empty before you store it that should do the trick. I hope this helps!

The auger motor is fed through a high temp limit thermostat. It has to be manually reset if it activates but it could be causing your problem with a bad connection or intermittently bad. It deserves a look...
