A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: have lenoxx ht 500 surround sound speakers & dvd but dvd is broken, need to purchase another dvd player but can't source lenoxx model, what other models can i connect surround sound to? or whe

If your surround sound receiver unit has rca audio inputs(red/white), you can hook up any brand of DVD player that has rca outputs. You would hook the yellow output from DVD player to yellow input on TV. Hook red/white output from DVD player to red/white input on surround receiver. Hope this helps.

Can I add more speakers to my HT-J5500W Samsung sound system.

The HT-J5500W can only support a 5.1 speaker system. The main part of the entertainment system supports a direct connection with the front right, front left and center speakers and sub-woofer. The wireless receiver module connects the surround right and left speakers to the rest of the system.

You would need a different amplifier/receiver to switch to a 7.1 or other speaker system using more speakers. You may be able to upgrade the individual speakers, as long as you don't exceed the power output limits of the system. The original speakers are 165 W each (front and surround speakers) and 170 W for the center speaker and the sub-woofer.

I hope this helps.

Code to change settings for Small loud speakers to large. Model No HT-F450K to HT-F455K models

Speaker size selection usually is part of receiver set up; the DVD player has nothing to do with it.

I have a Onkyo Model HT-S5300 I can to install two additional front speaker I want to know the speaker specification that i can install

The speakers and amp are optimized at 6-ohms. Adding speakers will require you to run them in parallel with a possible dangerously low impedance; or in series, doubling the impedance which is safer.

These products are not designed to be modified.

Does onkyo HT-s3100 supports 4 Ohms speakers from JBL(control 1)

Palaboy is incorrect. JBL Control 1 speakers are 4 Ohm 150 watt speakers. He's probably thinking of the Control 1x speakers which are 8 ohm 80 watt speakers.

If you hook your Control 1s to that Onkyo, it won't sound great and could cause the receiver to overheat and trip the protection circuit if played at high volume.

HOME THEATER SAMSUNG HT-Q100

Your systemn is designed and built to perform 2.1 sound. If you want 5.1 sound you can do 2 things, connect another pair of speakers to the same speakerterminal as your front speakers, however this produces 5.1 stereo sound and not 5.1 surround sound.
You can buy a new system that has the proper connections.

This set will not have the proper decoding software to produce 5.1 surroundsound. sorry.

Can't get sound throught one speaker

Did you get the solution for your problem? I am currently facing exactly the same problem. My front right speaker is not working when connected properly, but when I change its connections to left front, it is okay suggesting that there is nothing wrong with the speaker.
