To help you, I would need your full model number as shown on the tag in or or the oven.

Q: When you say you "turn it on," does that mean when you plug it in, or when you press "Start" or another key to try to make it cook?

Q: What exactly do you mean by "turns off?"

Why is my turntable not turning in my microwave oven?

Is your microwave clean under the table? No stuck on food or anything? Does the the oven work without the table?
Does the little prop in the centre that turns the table move when there is no table on it? Try to carefully clean it and see if that helps.

How do I fix a Microwave?

A microwave is not a good candidate for novice repair. However, since it isn't completely dead, the power circuit is likely intact (not a blown fuse). The major components involved are the capacitor and the magnitron. The cheapest is the capacitor. If you have to replace the magnitron, it is not likely economically feasable. Be careful of the cap - it contains energy even when unplugged!

Galanz Microwave Model WP1000AL30 doesn't go on when the item buttons are pushed?

Does microvave button makes sound and when you start push button does the turn table moves. If yes for sound ,and no for turn table then you might have door switch which is either doesent latching or might broke.
open oven (be sure to discharge capacitors).
check its closing properly(the switch)
and use DMM to check resistance that it doesn't show OL

My daughter just moved into a townhouse and the microwave plate warms, however the plate doesn't rotate. Is there any easy way of fixing this issue

The rotating table in a microwave shouldn't be getting warm unless something is sitting on it and transferring heat to it. The chamber should not be left empty when the microwave is running. The motor that drives the table is of very low mechanical power but should be able to handle about any load it must. I suggest you remove the glass table, the ring on which it rides, put a cup of water in the chamber and turn it on. Look at the drive spindle that engages with the table when installed. If it isn't rotating 9should be easy to see) then the motor is defective which is highly unusual to see one fail. If the spindle is clearly not moving, then I recommend replacing the whole unit since while the part isn't expensive, the labor cost would likely make the repair uneconomical.

Microwave Drum not moving Problem

Remove the plug and take the turn table out of the microwave cabin. Now keep the microwave rested on the side andopen the back pannel, you can see the turn table belt drive. If this is broken replace.if not trace the motor connection and mark them. Now heat the microwave in normal position, place the turn table and a cup of water.Close the door and switch on the microwave set for a minute. Now check the voltage on the motor line marked. If present ,then the motor is fault. If not the controller board is faulty, and must be traced. Can be the relay drive or the relay. hope the other sections are working fine.

My turntable is not moving. it was working very well upto now.

Not familiar with Kenmore, however, in most cases the turn table is turned by a small motor under neath the microwave, which is probably faulty.
I don't advise you to repair without trained safety knowledge on microwaves, this should not cost too much to repair by an approved engineer.
