SOURCE: Need fan blade.

I tried every link and selection on the WeatherWorks website in an attempt to find product information, but that was a waste of time. It's the least-friendly and least-useable website I've ever seen. For a replacement fan blade try contacting this aftermarket parts supply company (below). They seem to have every type of fan-blade imaginable: Electric Trading Co. PO Box 692, New York, NY 10013 Tel: (212) 226-0575 | Fax: (212) 941-1796 http://www.blowerwheel.com/ sales@blowerwheel.com (Although, to be honest, I think it wound be cheaper to buy a whole new window fan...)

SOURCE: replacement fan blade for fan

I have one of these pieces of junk. The motor swarmed, so the rest of the fan is perfect. I'll sell it for $10.00 plus shipping.

SOURCE: my husband has a BLACK & DECKER JS515 VARIABLE

Here is a link to the instruction manual, and just under the place where it says Save These Instructions it tells you how to change the blade.
http://www.dewaltservicenet.com/documents/English/Instruction%20Manual/90520882,JS515.pdf
Fitting the saw blade (figure A)
- Hold the saw blade (9) as shown, with teeth facing forward.
- Push the lever (3) downwards.
- Insert the shank of the saw blade into the blade holder (10) as far as it will go.
- Release the lever.

There is a little lever where the base of the blade fits into the holder that you depress to release the blade...You can see a picture of it in the manual.

I hope this answers your question...if so, please take a aec to rate this post...thanks.

I suppose you mean a blade arm. Call Gail at 1-800-365-4548 and she will try to fix you up. Blade arms are sold in sets to keep the fan balanced. Have one of the old arms and a tape measure handy, because she will ask you questions about your arm. You can also go to www.ceilingfanparts.com and look at the blade arm section for the measurements.

Need new blade arm where can i get it for a hunter ceiling fan model 28682

The item you need is called a "Blade Iron" - and that fan uses Hunter's P/N G2361-05 Blade Iron Set (5 pieces in set) and P/N G0858-00-860 Hardware Kit. The blades are P/N G1012-54 Blade Set (5 pieces in set).
A Parts Guide for this unit is available at http://www.hunterfan.com/uploadedFiles/HunterFan/Support/Support_Documents/98000-02-045.pdf , the Owner's Manual can be found at http://www.hunterfan.com/uploadedFiles/Support/Owners_Manuals_and_Parts_Guide/42439.pdf , and the Installation Guide is at http://www.hunterfan.com/uploadedFiles/Support/Owners_Manuals_and_Parts_Guide/site%20prep.pdf .

The Parts Guide linked above has a phone number through which parts can be obtained.

I have a Model MOD-CAT-23785-380 Ceiling Fan. I broke the arm that holds one of the blades. I need a replacement.

Davd the "arm" is technically a "Blade Iron". You can find them at most Home Improvement Centers (Lowe's & Home Depot) as they both sell Hunter Fans and universal parts.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

A couple years ago I bought a Hampton Bay OUTDOOR ceiling fan... and the blade arms started breaking off shortly after the warranty expired....yes the fan "motor" is guaranteed for life but not...

How outside is the fan? The blades should be a plastic type material. They should not break just because of it being outside. Go to the nearest hardware store and tell them you need some exterior fan blades. Screw them in to the metal arms that connect to the fan and make sure you have all exterior and rust proof parts (screws, fan blade arms, etc). Make sure to tighten the screws good. Then screw them into the fan motor, tightly of course. These should not break. If it continues to break after replacing the blades, then it would seem as if someone or something is breaking them. I've been an electrician for 8 years and have never heard of this happening.

My rear wiper gets snagged on the fixture of the cyclopse brake light. My 2005 Dodge Magnum was rear-ended awhile ago (and repaired), and then shortly threafter I had the Valvoline-Quicky-Oil-Change Team...

First try measuring the length of the wiper blade and calling your dealer or auto parts store to verify that the length is truly correct. Technicians might have grabbed the wrong length. If that's ok, go back to the people who repaired the accident damage and ask them if the arm was correctly installed, sometimes one notch on the shaft of the the blade arm will make the difference in wiper blade travel, if both of these possibilities fail, then maybe the shaft might be bent, or loose. Hope this helps-Jim

The pot metal in front of thequick release tension lever has broken and fell out. can I still use the saw If not where do I go to get another one 1830 120v 18inch scroll saw dremel

I believe the part you are looking for is called a "locking rod" dremel part number 2610922661, this is the black painted pot metal that is about 3" long attached to the upper arm rocker with a parallel pin, and the flip clamp (blade tensioning assembly) or it could be the small piece attached to the tension assembly that the blade attaches to which is silver and called the "blade holder assembly-top" part number 2610922683. I would recommend ordering both directly from Dremel CS 1-800-437-3635. I broke the locking rod on mine. I emailed dremel, and they emailed me back the next morning with a schematic, and parts list. I bought 2 and paid $10.41 total.

Light comes on but fan does not. Electrician just here and it is fan not switch

mcdevito75 here, If the fan is brand new and just installed, you may have forgotton to remove the brakes off the fan motor while installing the fan blades to the fan motor, these brakes are pieces of plastic to keep the fan motor from turning in the box while shipping from the factory, remove 1 fan blade and either on top or just underneath the fan motor where the blades screw on are small pieces of p[lastic that will keep the fan motor from working, simply remove these plastic brakes.
