LG47 LN5750 TV. Took it apart to install new led strips. Lost track of the 4 light filter panels. Anyone know their proper order on reinstall?

There are 4 filter panels. Three thin plastic panels with tabs that are essentially sandwiched together and one much stiffer plastic panel without tabs.

This is the stirrer cover. It is important. It is to keep food particles and grease out of the stirrer and waveguide area.

If grease or food particles build up, they can arc, which will cause burn damage to the cover, stirrer, chassis, and/or magnetron.

If you have any arcing, you should remove it for cleaning. Be careful of sharp edges.

The stirrer's job is to stir the microwaves to ensure even heating, even when a turntable is not present or not used.

If you have Hitachi model number 50UX58B, 60UX58B, 50UX58K, 60UX58K, 50SBX78B or 60SBX78B and you have the following symptoms you may want to grab a repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com. They have put together a kit that includes the parts and instructions to fix these models. This is a fairly common problem with the above model numbers. It is typically caused by a blown capacitor and pico fuse. Again, you can get a kit from the above address.
Here are the symptoms...

Primary Symptom: No Audio or Video. Power light will come on briefly then shut off.
Other Possible Symptoms : The green LEDs on the circuit board light up for a few seconds then turn off.

Hope this helps,

Toyota doesn't publish instructions for that. Its checked and installed for free as a courtesy on an oil and filter replacement, at good repair shops. You took it apart, I'm sure you can figure it out. People that aren't auto mechanics, think everything's so simple.

I assume you changed all the LED strips when you changed the bad ones, NEVER replace part of them, if you didn't replace them all, open the set up again and replace the ones that weren't replaced the first time and all will be well.

Element roku tv 50 inch screen not working after replacing all 9 LED backlights

Hi Kol, I would suggest checking all of the connections that you've disconnected to install the new LED strips. The LEDs are connected in series and it wouldn't make a difference if you installed them in a certain order. If after checking all the connections the TV still doesn't work then it might be a possibility that the new LEDs might be DOA. You can test the LEDs strips using a 9 volts battery and a couple of alligator clips. Test the LEDs one strip at a time.
Hope this helps.

I have a 70" Sharp TV LC-70LE660U Serial # 501858230. It has sound but no picture. I took it apart, the backlights come on the cuts right off, do anyone know whats wrong?

The backlight is LED strips. When the television comes on the power supply senses the current draw and shuts down if it is too high. When one led on the strip burns out the current draw increases. You need to replace the LED strips or troubleshoot down to each diode and find the bad one(s)

LG 55LN5400 LED TV, back light failure, how can I fix?

Does the tv screen flash on and off very quickly? Does the led standby light come on and then slowly blink twice and go out?If these are the symptoms then it is more than likely a bad led backlight strip.I have answered this question in a previous post but to re-cap.I have a lg 47ln540v led tv and had this fault. In the previous post I explained that I had replaced all the boards, main, psu and t-con and all to no avail.I checked as best I could all the solder joints, resistors, fuses etc.I couldn't see any bad capacitors and I was on the verge of giving up.This was all a bit daunting since I am not a tv technican but I am familiar with electricity at a basic level.I decided this thing wasn't going to beat me so I decided to strip the tv screen assembly apart.I checked the led strips with a battery and found one led wasn't working.I managed to source a replacement led strip from a tv repair shop from a damaged tv and replaced it and this solved the problem. As I understand it,if the circuit component that monitors the backlight function detects a fault it shuts off the power to it and goes into a "safe mode",presumably to protect the remaining leds from receiving to much voltage or current since they are wired in series.Incidentally it took me five weeks to troubleshoot this fault.I cannot recommend anyone to do this themselves since there are capacitors on the power board that hold high voltage and charge and can be very dangerous, even lethal even when tv is switched off.I hope this is helpful to someone.

No image. seems to be a led problem

POWER LIGHT FLASHES ONE SHORT AND ONE LONG FLASH.
What is the problem? THE PROBLEM IS THAT ONE OF THE LED's STRIPS IS BAD!

SHARP AQUOS LC60LE810UN RESET INSTRUCTIONS

1)Plug in TV to electric current First then wait until LED start flashing.
2)Press Volume DOWN [ - ] HOLD BUTTON.
3)Press Channel UP [ ^ ] HOLD BUTTON.
4)Press Power [ (') ] HOLD ALL three buttons until LED stops flashing and then release.

·This will reset the TV in order to fix the problem.
·THE FIX IS TO REPLACE ONE OF THE LED's. You need to open the back of the TV and you will also need to remove the front cover and panel to get to the LEDs. The TV will need to be placed facedown and on the backside. This is a 2 person job to turn the TV on its sides. Be careful with the white computer connectors (wide white strip) at the base of the TV where the TV stand sits. You will need to disconnect this in order to get to the LED's.
Once you have the LED's exposed, you will need to unplug one by one by placing the new strip next to it until the unit turns on. You will have to use the RESET procedure above if the Power lite flashes. The Power lite MUST BE ON SOLID - no blinking in order to test the strips. The LED's will flash, but still one of them will be burned. Even if you stare and all the strip light-up, you will still need to check one-by-one!
Once the TV lights up, your face will also light up with joy! Put everything back together and you are set. If you need the complete instructions which come from Sharp as to how to disassemble the unit, please send me an e-mail to [email protected]. Please note I don't check this address daily, so a few days wait may take for you to receive the instructions.

Where can you buy the LED's - try searching Yahoo.com or Google.com for resellers.
