The unit was in storage for about a year and a half I believe there is a relay that's trying to clothes and maybe an insect has filed the contacts or something any ideas of How I can diagnose and repair welder

SOURCE: Strange noise from my Bosch Dishwasher SHU66C02UC/14

my dishwasher started making a load noise last night found out it was the pump . It was a easy fix to access the pump you need to remove the outer side of the door and the bottom cover .then you can see the pump .to remove it you need to remove the clear hose in front of it .it just pulls out of the tank sealed by a o-ring move it out of the way next unplug the wires to the pump .then you will see a plastic clip on top the pump just push the clip and turn the pump clock wise about a half turn and pull it out replace new one make. sure you get all the water out off the bottom tray before running theres a swicth that will keep the pump running if leak

SOURCE: Speakers buzz for about 1 minute when powering on or switching

Building on what WheatService said for any other newbs (like me) who may run across this...
1) Go to Radio Shack, get yourself two of the 272-1030 470uF/35V capacitors mentioned ($1.29/each) and a cheap soldering kit (mine came with solder and extras for $8). just take those numbers to the clerk, once he or she tries to sell you a couple cell phones, they should help you find the parts.
2) go home. disconnect the subwoofer from the wall, speakers, and dvd player
3) remove the 8 screws around the edge of the metal plate on back of subwoofer and carefully remove the metal plate and all the goodies attached to it. make sure to disconnect the two wires leading from the rest of the subwoofer to the circuit boards.
4) what you are looking at is two parallel circuit boards with a bunch of stuff in between them. to tell them apart, notice that one of the boards is home to a fan (amongst other things), and the other has the power cord running into it.
5) we want to remove the board that the power cord runs into, so make sure you've got the right one, and remove all of the screws which are holding it in place. again, be sure to unhook any cords before you yank off the circuit board.
6) once the board is removed, you should see two large heatsinks (pieces of metal). one is just a big rectangle that sticks straight up towards one end of the board and the other is kind of t-shaped (from the end) and a monstrosity. you'll want to look in the area between the two heat sinks but towards the smaller, rectangular one.
7) in that area, there may be some white foamy stuff sprayed around. take a look at the capacitors from radio shack and note their size. you are looking for two identical black, cylindrical capacitors roughly the same size as the ones you purchased (but a bit smaller). if you think you have the right ones, take a look at the side of them. you may have to scrape off some foamy stuff, but they should say 470uF/25V.
8) the basic idea here is that those 25V guys need to be replaced with 35V ones (the ones you bought). i'm no expert, but what worked for me is pulling lightly on the existing capacitors while melting the contact points from the bottom with the soldering tool. once those are removed, put the new ones in (push them almost all the way down so most of the wire is coming out the bottom). now turn the board back over and apply a generous bead of solder to each of the four wire points.
9) clip off the excess wire from the bottom, and marvel at your newfound expertise.
10) put the whole thing back together (steps 2-5 in reverse), remembering to connect the wires as you go.
11) turn it on and enjoy!

SOURCE: Tankless Paloma NG hot water heater shuts down

have you checked the error codes on the heater?
you can do this by powering off the controler and pressing the up and down keys for a few seconds. this should take you into the diagnostics mode scroll using the up and down keys till you find the one that has the letter E on it and that will give you the last 8 error codes write them down and get back to me

Miller deltaweld 652. Turn main switch on and you here a humming sound and the main contactor does not pull in??

Sounds like low voltage to the contactor. Reasons could be wrong input jumper settings for input power. Weak input three phase power. Bad control transformer (supplies power to contactor coil through the power switch). Just need to "dig" with a voltmeter.

I have a miller syncrowave 250 dx and my gas will not shut off when i let off the trigger even when my postflow is turned all the way to 0

Hi:
Probably your solenoid gas valve is obstructed by dirt. You can take it out and blow it with air or just replace it with a new one.

Can you please tell me what the input power is for a Miller 250Dx in Australia? I know it has to be three phase but I need to know how many volts and Amps.

Your machine can be plug at different voltages from 220 to 575 V. All you need to do is change the position of the jumper links that are located on the back of the machine near the lead cable connector.

My new Miller Bobcat has low amperage on 120 volt outlet.

Increase your idle setting on the 1/8" threaded rod protruding to the left of the carburetor until V= 125. Then run your drill. Actuating the drill should call the throttle solenoid to open up to produce more power.

TIG welder help

Choose the electrode to use for the project you are starting as well as the variety of alloys you'll use such as the 6061 Aluminum alloy electrode. Grind the electrode to a point. Try to create a tip and sharpen it to help it become more rounded as you weld. Place the electrode into an electrode holder with the tip about 1/4-inch away from the sheath. Choose the settings on your tig welder. The three main ones are AC, DCEP and DCEN. Choose AC for aluminum. Slide the "cleaning/penetrating" slider more to the penetrating side. Set the "air on" to five seconds and the "max amps" to 250. Turn on the gas. For aluminum, use pure argon. For steel, an argon and carbon dioxide mix. Scrub your welding table or flat piece of sheet metal with a wire brush to make it clean and flat. Gear up in full welding safety gear including hood, goggles, apron and gloves. Hold the electrode in your dominant hand and start your welding project. Check your settings every so often to make sure they haven't changed and adjust as needed.
