How do i make auriculars work for panasonic kx-dt343

I apologize, but I've never seen the word "auriculars" used by Panasonic and don't really know exactly what you need help with, but I'd like to try. The dictionary says that "auriculars" means "adjective 1. of or pertaining to the ear or to the sense of hearing; aural. 2. perceived by or addressed to the ear; made in private: an auricular confession." Based on that, I wonder if you're referring to connecting an auxiliary headset. If so, there's a standard 3.5mm jack headset on the lower left side of the phone with an embossed headset symbol that can be used. If you're asking about adjusting the handset or speakerphone volume up or down, that's done with the circular silver ring in the lower right front of the phone that has up and down pointing arrows raised on it. If you're asking about hearing aid compatibility, the handset has the required magnetic transfer coil built in so as to allow a hearing aid with a standard "T" coil setting to pickup the handset audio. I hope I've helped, if not, just ask again with a little more detail and I'll try to respond.

How far away can the unit be from the magnetic contact strip?

Usually not much more than 1/2" Howver, if the room is very quiet you can usually move the magnet close to the body (or other magnet) and hear a very faint sound when the magnet makes and breaks the connections. This way you can test the distance and have a better idea of how far away it can be. You may need to get your ear right up to the units to hear the faint sound. Like a faint "twing" sound or "click" sound.

When on a call i cant hear what the other person is saying but they can hear me and my in call volume is all the way up

Hi Friend,
As you have mentioned you are not able to hear the voice from the other end,but they are able to hear, the problem is due to ear phone in your mobile,

Kindly replace th ear phone of your mobile,u can get a perfect solution.Or the other solution is,Just remove the front and back panel of your mobile,u will be able to see a magnet place at the ear place,it may have demaganatised. So due to this u will face this issue,So kindly replace it,

Or the other solution is,u may use a head phone(Hands free),so that u will be able to hear what the other person is saying,

Check and revert back,

Thanks for using Fixya

I purchased a bluetooth ear piece off Ebay that I do not have the manual for so I do now know how to pair the device with my cell phone.

Not knowing the brand and model # of the ear piece, I would recommend google to search the brand and model #. You can probably download a manual for your ear piece from say Plantronics.com
or Motorola.com
or Jabra.com
etc.
Whatever your brand and Model #
