If you have a front loader washing machine, the rear bearing can go bad a make a loud noise when spinning. The only way to fix it is to remove the basket and replace the bearing. Depending on how old the machine is + how much money to repair = new washer.

Why does my washer make noise before the spin cycle

Depending on what the noise sounds like, these front load washers have rear bearing issues. The drum bearing is just not strong enough to support the weight and the larger the drum the more weight and I doubt they use larger bearings for more cubic feet machines. They need a buddy bearing or some sort of support to take all the weight off the rear bearing.

Indesitw123 front load washing machine making very loud noise when spinning

The noise you can hear is the drum bearings, the seal between the drum and bearings has failed and let water into the bearings which has destroyed the bearings.

Very noisy and loud vibrations on spin cycle of Frigidaire FTF2140FS front load washing machine

Is it just during the spin cycle that it machine is noisy or the noise is less during the wash cycle? Also is the noise a thumping type of noise or is it more of a whining or steady noise? If is a whining noise, it probally means that water has seeped past the seal and corroded the bearing of the washer. The noise is the failing bearing.

Load spinning noise

If you mean it is noisy when spinning, then could be main drum bearings are going.
If you spin the drum by hand from the front, there should be little or no noise.
If it feels rough or is rumbling, then it is definately the bearings.
It is not clear what you mean exactly.
Hope this helps.

Based on your description, it sounds as if your outer spin bearing is faulty. See link below for an illustration of the bearing. Special tools are required to replace this item.
