My waeco CDF35 coolfreeze fridge shows an error light but seems to work intermittently.It is plugged into mains power via the adapter

SOURCE: Power light flashing on & off

Try to unplug and plug the power cord this may help, flashes is an error code. Try also the defrosting, error codes alarm the owner if there are some abnormal operation int the unit.

1 st Check and see if you have power coming out the power plug.
2nd. Ckeck and see if the fuse is ok in the unit.
3rd Check and see if your cig ligter works in your power outlet.

Sounds like the compressor is grounded out causing the breaker to trip, but it could also be wiring, but if I recall most things in those type of machines reduce down to 12vdc and that wouldn't blow the breaker.

I would say the power inverter that convert AC to DC is no longer working.

110 volts works but 12 volt does nothing, checked voltage 13.6 v. Any suggestions. Thanks.
