What does se mean on Samsung over the range microwave model #smh9207st

The SE error code means a key has been depressed for more than 10 seconds. Press the "Clear" button, does it reset and work normally? If not, try completely cycling power to it. If that doesn't work you will probably need to replace the touch pad assembly.

What is the se code that comes up on the oven, and it wount work? How can we fix this error code?

Hi longislandlu,

SE stands for "Sensor Error". This appears if the keypad is held down for longer than 10 seconds but if not held down this means that your humidity sensor has shorted and needs to be replaced. You will need to uninstall the entire unit and remove the outer shell to access the sensor that needs to be replaced. It will be mounted somewhere around one of the vent on the cavity of the microwave. You may contact Sears for the replacement part at 1-800-252-1698; M-F 6:30 AM-10:30 PM - Sat 7:00 AM-9:30 PM - Sun 7:30 AM-9:30 PM - All times Central.

Hope this helps.

Hi luvashley28,

F3 error code means that there's an open or shorted oven temperature sensor (RTD). To resolve this you have to Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok. Microwave settings switch off after 22 secs/30 secs

If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter, controller, magnetron, or a bad connection from one or the other.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.
