SOURCE: loose replacement blade

I completely removed the blade and put it back on, tightening the locknut, and now it works perfectly. The blade has not come loose and have used the machine for the last 3 months. The only thing I can think of is that somehow I didn't have the blade correctly installed in the first place, although it didn't wobble or anything.

SOURCE: I do not know how to release the blade so it will

When you are facing the saw look on the right hand side in the area where the arm pivots. There will be a silver shaft with a groove just in front and slightly lower than the pivot. If you hold down slightly on the handle and pull out on this shaft it will allow the arm to lift up. Locking the arm down is reverse.
Here is a link to the owners manual for this tool.

My saw won't run when I press the switch trigger.

First, check the outlet it's plugged into.
Power cords can go open, try holding the trigger (careful), and bend the power cord near the plug, and near the saw.
Trigger switches can go out.
saw motors can go out.

How do I fix the spring on the switch for a 10 inch ryobi miter saw? I can hear it rattling around and the switch won't work. Also plastic screws holding handle together are broken.

Hello Anonymous,
First locate the model number of your Ryobi Miter saw... then search Google for Ryobi Miter saw replacement parts... one result I got is below:
http://www.mastertoolrepair.com/ryobi-power-tool-parts-ryobi-miter-saw-parts-c-873_895_937.html
Try that link, select your Ryobi saw model and zoom into the provided drawings so you can locate the switch, screws, and spring (if needed). The part numbers are supplied and you can order them online easily on that same link... Then just repair your saw with the new parts. As you already noticed, the saw is easy to disassemble and get access to the parts for repair. Have fun and good luck...

Ryobi miter saw laser is way off. I can get it parallel, but it's about 1 inch away from the actual cut line. How can I fix the laser side-to-side?

Forget it. The lazer site gets obscured and useless after 5 minutes of cutting. It is the most useless improvement I've seen on a power tool in 40 years.

I just bought a brand new Ryobi saw from a neighbor but he couldn't find the manual. TS1141L 7 1/4" miter saw how do i get one?

Try this site. http://powertool.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/ryobi/ts1341.html I could not find your exact model. If this is not close to what you have then there are many other models to chose from. Just click on "ryobi saw" above the manual to see the rest of the models. You should find something very similiar. Thanks and please rate.

How do i unlock the safety position on my Ryobi miter saw?

There should be a metal pin on the back left side(tool facing you) near the pivot point. Just pull this in or out to lock/unlock the safety position.

12'' Ryobi miter saw with loose blade

You may need to use lock tight on the threads. Also replace the standard washer with a lock washer if possible.
