SOURCE: noisy microwave not cooking

Is it making a louder than usual; buzz or hum when you try to cook?

If so, I would suspect a shorted high voltage diode ore a bad magnetron.

SOURCE: We installed a Jenn-Air Microwave

E-11 Gas (humidity) sensor open error. Sensor unplugged, wiring or PCB open connection.

Since it's less than one year old, it would be fully covered under warranty. I'd really suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

But if you're discreet and careful, you can at least see if maybe the sensor has gotten unplugged from the circuit board. That would be a simple quick fix.

At
our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

Otherwise, you can probably return it to the dealer since it's within the 30-day period and get another one.

SOURCE: After entering time to cook, then press start, Panasonic microwave Dimension 4 NN-CD987W .. Code appears H97

H95, H97, H98 or H99 mean that there's a problem with your inverter, magnetron, or digital programming circuit.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

Samsung microwave shuts off before the time is up. The display reads E-11. What does this mean?

Depends on how old unit is...The E11 error code indicates a problem with the gas sensor DE32-60013A and or the wire harness DE39-40678D. Unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued the sensor. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it or try eBay, Amazon or similar sites . Search by using the manufacturers part number. Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or a usable part for your machine.

Kenmore microwave 85609 has a 5E code on it

test this steps and fix it. God bless you
  1. Power Issues

    • If your microwave oven won't come on, ensure that the power cord is plugged into an outlet and that the power is on. Replace any blown fuses, and reset a tripped circuit breaker. If the microwave won't run, see that the door is completely closed and that nothing is stuck in it. Ensure that your door is not broken. Replace if necessary. See that you have not started the timer as opposed to the cooking function. Press "Start/Enter" to start your microwave.

    Clock

    • Your display will flash if your power goes out. You must reset the clock. If you do not hear a tone at the end of cooking, ensure that you have enabled the audible tone. Also check that you are using the right command. If your power goes out while your food is cooking, you must reset both the cooking time and clock.

    Cooking

    • If you see sparks while you are cooking, remove any metal objects or plates with silver or gold trim. If your food is taking too long to cook, ensure that you have selected the correct power level for the food item. Remove any other appliance from the 20-amp circuit line. Additional appliances on the same amp will draw too much power away from the microwave. Also ensure that you have selected the correct food item in the preprogrammed menu. Each microwave has its own error codes. Always read your manual to determine what the error code means. Examples of error codes include "E-11", "E-12" and "E-13." This means that you have a defective sensor, and you must get your microwave serviced. The "SE" error code indicates an issue with your control panel.

    Additional Problems

    • You may hear gear noises, especially a humming noise; the fan will automatically come on while your food is cooking. If your turntable plate makes noise, first clean it, and then see that it is positioned correctly over the roller ring. If your nearby appliances are experiencing electrical interference, move your microwave farther away to correct this problem.

Kenmore Gas Range model # 362.75491990 F3 error Oven will not hold temp - error message displays and beeps I Replaced the oven temp sensor same issue Is the control panel bad?

Hi,

Many models of the GE microwave have sensors that can detect humidity from the foods you are cooking. This allows the microwave to make adjustments to the power levels used to cook your food. If "Sensor Error" appears, you should either press "Clear" to cancel the mode or leave the food in the appliance longer to give the microwave more time to detect the food.

Press "Time Cook" to manually enter the time if you receive an error message when trying to use the "Sensor Reheat" mode of your GE microwave. The error message may be caused by the food item being too large or too small to detect.

these are some other code error that will help you in case of next time.

  1. Step 1 Press "Off/Cancel" (or "Cancel/Off" depending on your model) to clear the error code. Note the code if it reappears.
  2. Step 2 Replace the touchpad if the code displayed is "F0," "F7" or "F10." A function key is stuck or shorted.
  3. Step 3 Replace the touchpad or the clock (ERC) if the code "F1" is displayed. Disconnect the ribbon connector to the touchpad. If no code is displayed after an hour, replace the touchpad. If the code displays again, replace the clock.
  4. Step 4 Replace the oven temperature sensor if "F2," "F3" or "F4" is displayed. "F2" indicates the oven temperature is too hot and the oven temperature sensor is suspect. "F3" or "F4" indicates the oven temperature sensor or shorted or open.
  5. Step 5 Replace the ERC if "F5," F6" or "F8" is displayed. The ERC is the main control unit. "F5," F6" and "F8 are codes that indicate problems in the ERC functions.
  6. Step 6 Inspect the door-lock assembly and circuit if "F9" is displayed. The door must lock when the oven is in use. If the lock mechanism is not functioning or if the detection circuit is malfunctioning, the stove will display "F9."

jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); }); NOTE:

"F3" codes mean your oven temperature sensor has failed or shorted out. The only thing you can do is to replace the sensor.

Take care.

ERROR CODE E 63 COMES ON AFTER 2 MINUTES ON SAMSUNG MICROWAVE

I'm not finding that error code.

Does it come on 2 minutes after you plug it in?

If so, it may be a failing keypad or door switch / mount.

Of two minutes after you have been cooking?

That may indicate a bad humidity or other sensor.

Please give more detials so we can help further.
