The car manual will tell you how to reset the clock. Or contact the dealer OR

Kenmore oven door lock works, but self clean cycle, goes back to begining after setting time for cycle.

If resetting the power did not fix it, the EOC would need to be replaced to fix this issue. The EOC (also known as the clock) can be a very expensive part ( > $300). Try leaving the power off over night as sometimes this can fix the problem.

F-7 code has been flashing, along with constant beeping. This has happened about 5 times over the past 2 months. Eventually it stops but now we resort to flipping the fuse off to get rid of the noise. ...

Hello Marylou,

The F7 code means the same thing on all domestic (USA) brand ovens. What is means is that a button on the touch pad is shorted (welded together) out. Since you did not include brand or model#
i will give you the following advice, if your touch pad is a seperate part that plugs in clock (also called the oven control,or eoc..electronic oven control) then just the touch pad can be replaced,on certain brands or even some models within a brand the touch pad is integrated into the clock/oven control or eoc in that case the complete touch pad/control asm. is what needs to be replaced

Hope this helps and if it does please give me a 4 thumbs up rating

Oven door will not lock to clean

hi, these two codes together are signaling a EOC failure. the electronic oven control has failed and you will need to replace the EOC/clock. it is unable to initiate any commands because, it in a frozen state.

You can try to reset this control by unplugging the entire unit for 5 minutes. if the control continues to not reaspond to your commands, replace the EOC.

please rate and god bless:)

Frigidaire Range control panel DEAD

We tested the EOC and it will indeed need a replacement. Also, just a couple weeks prior we ran the "clean" mode on the oven as did another poster who experienced the "pop" and loss of the control board/oven function, but still had stove top function.

Electric oven range not working

common replace eoc clock get eoc and overlay the black or white cover for the clock is the overlay if you peel the old one off carefully you can restick it on the new eoc pull the range out and remove the 1/4 inch screws from around the top panel after un plugging the range remove the top panal face the front of the range right under the clock remove the two 1/4 in screws go to the back of the range and pull the eoc bracket backwards from the bottom and out take the four screws out that hold the eoc to the bracket turn the eoc sideways and out of the bracket and let it hang screwthe new eoc to the bracket with the two srew holes at the bottom put the overlay on the new eoc and put the top of the bracket in first then push the bottom in making sure the holes in the bottom line up with the holes on the cotrol panael go to the front and replace the two screws then go to the back and with a small screwdriver gently pry the wires off the old eoc and place them on the new one if you get lost theres letters on the wires that match the ones on the eoc replace the back panel plug it in reset the eoc clock all done make shure you get the complete mod# when you order the eoc its on a plate on the left side of the range body when you open the bottom drawer all done
