Problem for Zenith DVB712
No sound

Was working when I turned it off. Turned it back on plays the movie with no sound. TV sound works fine when tuned to cable.

- The problem is the formatting on some DVD's. Using the Zenith remote, press the setup button, select the AUDIO settings, scroll to Dolby Digital and change the setting from BITSTREAM to PCM. Without exiting the Audio program,turn off the Zenith player with the remote and turn it back on again.Jul 22, 2009
- Try changing the audio setting from BITSTREAM to PCM. On the remote select SETUP, AUDIO, DOLBY DIGITAL, then change the setting. Once selected turn off the DVD player without exiting the Menu. Turn back on again.Popular Solutions for Zenith DVB712
