How do I adjust the length in the ptd600 label maker?

Are you sure is is a 'PC 10'? I can't find that model. All the ones I have used were battery operated desktop use or hand held. Is this a cable that connect the label maker to a PC, so you design on the computer and print to the Dymo? If that is the case, It _should_ be a standard printer lead.

Firstly the length of the label must be correctly set.
- When activation forward wait on parameter, you can adjust the feed value.
- else you can adjust the feed value in the driver.

The problem with this type of printer is that you need to callibrate the size of the label in fact the Length. If you change the length then the printer may stop printing correctly ans stalls.
From your driver try to do a calibration of sensors with your labels and this sould work with this model.
Other manufacturers handle the varying length dynamically.

I would recommend adjusting your sensor to the middle of your label.

Sounds like you may have a maximum length set that keeps you from printing over a certain length of label and it is adjusting your font size to fit that length. You may need a manual to figure out how to reset the length.

Most reasons for this is a slight adjustment problem with page length. You can recalibrate the printer via the menu system, doing it this way will adjust the sensors with new settings

Some drivers adjust the length of the print area, regardless of the length of the label. Do calibrate the label and also verifies that the margins are zero.

Let the printer calibrates itself or have a manual calibration in the printer setup. You can also press the keys FEED, PAUSE and CANCEL, turn on the printer and release the keys when feeding the labels.

hi, its hard to say but.... does it feed ok or skip labels??? if it skips labels, the sensor will need replacement or adjustment, also download the latest drivers, and if your driver or software gives u the option, play around with the magnification settings, also double check length, borders etc, try making the label length setting appear longer , shorter etc. Hope this is of help to you,M,
