Question about Apple iPhone 5c
I purchased an iPhone 5c online that is is great condition but I am having trouble with the Bluetooth setting turning to "ON". When I go into settings for Bluetooth it shows "Off" and when I tap on the setting to turn it on it comes up with the Bluetooth page and shows the spinning gear (or wheel) instead of the On/Off button and stays that way forever so I can not connect any bluetooth device. I purchased the phone and gave it to my son before I completely checked everything out and came to find out later he reported that the Bluetooth setting never worked for him. So I set out on my mission to fix it, thinking it would be a "piece of cake"! I have searched far and wide on the internet and have tried everything so far pertaining to Hard Reset, Factory Restore, Restore to New Set Up, Reset Network Settings, Reset All Settings , Turning Airplane Mode/Do not Disturb on and off again, etc. etc. but to no avail. Can this be a hardware issue instead of software issue? I have opened the iPhone and inspected inside for any signs of water damage but it is "clean as a whistle" and all three moisture indicators are still good.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It's very simple! The iPhone doesn't have normal bluetooth!
Unlike most devices, the iPhone can only see bluetooth hands-free headsets, and can't be found by other bluetooth devices either!
How bad is that?!?! Apple release what is basically a pocket computer, similar in some ways to the various pocket PCs (such as the O2 XDAs for example) which run Mobile Windows, but don't include normal bluetooth facilities, even though we are paying £400 for the hardware and we are now in the 21st century (and this is Apples 2nd attempt at getting it right)!
And don't get me started on the camera, or "cut and paste", or compatibility with accessories, or ......................

According to the technicians of Apple, Bluetooth in iPhone does NOT recognize other iPhones/iPods/other brands of phones, because this facility in iPhone is not meant for transfer of data from one phone to the other. It is only for call-hearing and music-listening without keeping the phone attached to the ear.
