Question about Dishwashers

I have just recently noticed a black mouse and it always seems to go back underneath by dishwasher but i have a Frigidaire Ultra Quiet not a Maytag. Could the mouse be living inside of it?

I think they usually only like Maytags. If you notice the color of the mouse change, then that's probably not where it's living, it's just a timeshare.

I'll be he's just hanging out underneath...hey it's warm under there... There's no way he could be getting IN the unit. Remember the dishwasher cabinet is a sealed unit...it's gotta keep the water inside w/o leaks... with the door closed, that is..
There's a little space under your dishwasher that's a great mouse house... eek!

Noisy drain pump on FDB635RF?

Two questions: 1) Are there filters that need to be cleaned on a routine basis with the FDB635RF? and 2) What causes the scum left behind on glasses and utensils? I use a rinse aid, but doesn't seem to be helping. This is a recent problem.

Our Frigidaire Ultra Quiet II dishwasher loud buzzing noise- wash

No longer "ultra quiet" huh?

A sound during certain cycles indicates a broken part. By the information provided sounds like a pump may be the problem. You may need to contact a service tech about this issue. If the appliance still under warranty, the service should be provided for free.

Every time when you hear noises (other than the normal ones) in the appliance, it indicates there is something wrong and it will worsen over time, so as soon you hear something is not ok, get assistance.

Dishwasher not pumping the water out?

hi
the larger motor housing underneath the unit is what moves the water around to wash, the smaller pump is the drain pump, if you don't hear that running it is likely in need of replacement. check your paper work for warranty, if it's out of warranty try to find a deal online and it's relatively easy to replace

Frigidaire Ultra Quiet 111 - ground up dirt on dishes

Remove the bottom plate near the floor. You can then look in under the dishwasher machine. The feet are adjustable up/down with a wrench most of the time. The dishwasher machine should tilt slightly away from the over flow sensor. In this case, Frigidaire Ultra Quiet, the rear feet should be lowered, or the front feet raised. If you have a machine with the over flow sensor on the bottom, at the back, tilt your machine slightly forward. Use detergent that dissolves food proteins. Problem solved.
