Bissle vacume can not fit belt around motor

It sounds like you got a belt that was too small, if it is the right belt it will be hard to get on. But once its on you will be all set.

Brush doesn't turn when on carpet

This sounds like the beater brush drive belt is either slipping, off the pulley, or broken. Unplug the vac, turn the unit over, and remove the bottom plate which may require you take out some screws.

Depending on your model, you will see a belt on one side or the other of the pulley and beater brush assembly. It's usually best to replace the belt, especially if the vac is over a year old. This is also a good time to clean any debris from the brush and the immediate area.

If you aren't comfortable doing this sort of work, just about any vacuum cleaner or appliance repair shop can handle this if you have one in your vicinity. Shop around.

My bissle proheat carpet cleaner/vaccuum has become clogged with the cleaner solution. As a result the cleaner solution does not reach the carpet when in operation. I had this fixed before at a local...

Take apart the handle (a few screws) unclip the small clear hoses, use a pipe cleaner or small screwdriver to clear the hose from the crystalized cleaning solution that is blocking the hose. Put it back together and it will be like new. ALWAYS run plain water through your machine when you are done using it to rinse it out.
