Question about Cannon Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

I have two Ripmax 1/16 M1A1s, both operating on diffeent frquencies. After a fairly long period of disuse I recently charged up and fired up both models, only to find that both have problems.

The desert camo version has all functions exceopt turret rotation, while the NATO camo has all functions except the main cannon firing. In both cases the relevant motors operate when called upon, but the function is not performed. Can these be fixrd, by whom, and at what cost?

SOURCE: My Sharp R-340D microwave works perfectly but Does NOT HEAT FOOD

Waleed, Since the microwave is going through all its motions we can feel safe that the oven and magnetron thermostats are ok. If they were bad you would not have a display. Just inside the control panel to the left, you have 3 switches which the door activates. A primary (top switch) a secondary (bottom switch) and a monitor switch (middle). If the primary or secondary switch is not closing when the door is shut, you high voltage side will not activate, therefore no heat. If the monitor switch failed or found either the primary or secondary switch closed with the door open, it would blow the main fuse and the oven would be dead. Therefore Im leaning on either the primary or secondary switch not operating correctly. When checking these switches, unplug and discharge the capacitor. This is high voltage. Good luck

SOURCE: Samsung 32 inch remote control problem

I had a similar problem. Take the batteries out of the remote, press down on the number 5 for about two minutes the put the batteries back in. This worked for me.
(I got this tip from a telesales advisor. I was close to buying a replacement remote but this tip worked. Hope it does for you. I'm not sure on the science part of it but it basically resets the remote. Good luck)

How to unlock seized engine

How did it come to seize up? Overheating? A long period of disuse? Running with no oil?

Most causes of seizure of a motor mean it should not be turned over lest further damage occur. I'd advise at least removing the sump pan to take a look up the bores for scoring, and to remove at least one each main and big end bearing cap to see if the crank is ok.

Mecablitz 45 ct 4Have an old 45ct4. Which functioned when last used. Have new cell in my QB2, but flash does not turn on, as if it's not getting power. Is there anything in he flash which would have...

The flash capacitor may need formatting after a long period of disuse (years). This means a longer than normal charge time and a few charge-discharge (test flash) cycle. If however the red LED, next to the power switch, does not light up after a few seconds, the flash can be faulty. Having repaired a flash of this age is not easy, spare parts are not available.

Is there anyway to change the frquency of these uniden 2 way radios

Hi,

Simple answer is no.

These radios were made for the USA where GMRS/FRS is available.
They work on a frequency range of 462-464MHz which in Australia and New Zealand, it is illegal to operate such radios without the apropriate license.

They are UHF commercial band two-way radios, not CB radios.

Note: Be warned that if you operate these radios in ANZ, and you're caught doing so, you will be charged under the radiocommunications violation act, and will be heavily fined and/or imprisoned.

My best advice is to buy a proper 5 watt UHF CB radio/handheld for next to nothing on ebay, and be able to use them legally in ANZ without the need for a license.

Regards,
Peter

I need all the diffeent firing order for gm 3400 2000 I have a back firing issue that won't let the van start?

it sounds more like the crank sensor is bad. when crank sensor has failed or is failing, certain timing problems will arise. the engine may start but shut off in a few minutes or seconds of operation. more than likely engine will not start. it controls timing, engine backfire, no spark or pulse at injectors, car will stall when stopped. heres the firing order: 2-4-6 front from left to right
1-3-5 rear left to right hope this helps !! go here for a diagram-- http://autorepair.about.com/library/firing_orders/bl-fo-6417.htm have a very good day !!

How much damage can be done to a vehicle if it is driven in 4-wheel drive and it is not necessary? It was driven in 4low for almost 150 miles. It is now sluggish and is not shifting gears very well.

Hi Initially nothing will be done, this is for a long period of time, effecftively when you have 4 wheel drive engaged, the 2 axles rotate at different levels, so it will not be an immediate effect but over a long period of time because the 2 axles at diffeent speeds will effectively pull the car apart

Could this hard drive have failed plain due to long period of disuse?

Hi,

Generally drives can be left sitting for a year or more without problems but if it was bumped or jarred hard enough the heads may not be releasing from the park position, otherwise clicking sounds usually mean problems with the circuit board. If you give it a visual inspection(requires removal with a torques 5 or torques 8 bit) you can look for any signs of a burnt out circuit.

Respond back on this post if you have any further questions.

Charged for approx. 6 hours then wouldn't work

I copied this from the Philips website... this took me FOREVER to find! Their site isn't the easiest to find products on...

"Insert the small plug into the shaver and put the powerplug in the wall socket. When you charge the appliance for the first time or after a long period of disuse, let the shaver charge for at least 16 hours. Remove the powerplug from the socket and the small plug from the shaver as soon as the batteries have been fully charged. Ignore the charge indicator when you charge the batteries for the first time. The batteries are completely new and need to be charged longer than the time indicated by the charge indicator to ensure that the back-up capacity is fully charged as well."

I hope this helps. Please remember to rate my help! I would greatly appreciate it!
