First try to copy the pictures to your hard drive; it sounds like the CD may have fallen off of its spindle. You should be able to release the tray by pushing a paperclip straight into the tiny hole next to the tray-release button. I will go in about 1/2 inch, or so, and you should feel the release mechanism operating. If it doesn't go straight in you won't feel any resistance.
Then you will probably have to shake and jiggle the computer, maybe turn it upside down to get the tray to open.

There is a plastic sled that fits on a wire bail, connected to a microswitch that tells the unit that the ice level is low and it needs to turn on the water to fill the ice cube trays. The wire bail falls out and catches on the drawer. If you pull too hard, you will break the plastic sled where it attaches to the bail. You can still buy the entire ice maker unit and re-install it easily, or if you are really handy, you can attempt a temporary fix with a little bit of wire at each end of the plasitc sled to keep it attached correctly to the wire bail. The older units were famous for this problem. I fixed mine, but ultimately had to replace the unit. Parts cost around $130.
