How do I remove an item that is stuck in my toilet?

Depends?. (Think about it.... this is a bad joke)
- Sometimes you can use a short piece of wire like a bent clothes hangar.
- A Plumbers plunger (rubber force cup) will often work.
- Less fun but guaranteed:
- shut off and disconnect water supply
- bail out bowl and tank.
- remove bolts that secure toilet to floor.
- lift toilet off mounting flange.
- remove object
- re-assemble using new wax seal.

Installing gunnel rubber

Start at one end. Leave it about 3/4" short to accomodate the end cap casting. You can even "sculpt" it a bit with a sharp utility knife to perfect the fit under the end cap. Start by spreading open the very end of the rubber.Install the end cap before proceeding. Use siliseal on the screws and mounting. Be sure the gunnel flange is completely clean. Bang the rubber onto the flange with a rubber mallet or the heel of your hand and stretch it as you go forward. It helps to have someone ahead of you with the coil over his shoulder feeding it to you as you work (I actually did it solo). Give it a real good stretch and make sure it's snug as you make the turn around the bow. Go back and make all your adjustments after it's had a chance to seat in the hot sun for a while and before you cut off the excess couple of feet. It's an expensive improvement but really well worth it. Good luck. from http://www.network54.com/Forum/136221/thread/1026657355/1026927445/Replacing+gunnel+rubber-

My toilet is a kohler low profile. There is not a

Hacked off the old seat? You mean the closet flange that connects to the sewer pipe?
That's the part that has the bolts. They go up through the toilet base.

If you have just a straight sewer pipe now, you can connect a new closet flange to it.

1.Hardware stores sell a rubber sleeve. This sleeve fits over the cast iron, or copper, or plastic PVC pipe, and the new closet flange has a stem that fits down in the sleeve. There are two large hose clamps, that come with this rubber sleeve.

The rubber sleeve is an adapter. It adapts the 4 inch sewer pipe, down to the 3 inch stem on the closet flange. (Toilets are known as a 'Water Closet', hence the flange that the toilet bolts to, is a 'Closet Flange')

Whatever size of rubber sleeve you need to adapt two pipes together, they have it.
The new closet flange is made of PVC plastic.
(Poly Vinyl Chloride)
The flange itself is about 1/2 inch thick, and has provisions for bolts. (Use Toilet Bolts, and nuts)
Be sure the closet flange sits flush to the floor. The 1/2 inch thick rim of the flange, sits on top of the floor. The flange is then screwed to the floor with countersink head screws. The slots allow the bolts to just slip in.

IF, the flange Does Not sit level on the floor, and the area for the toilet base is not level, you need to make a flat, level surface!
Do Not half step this, or you'll have a toilet leak from now until the time you fix the floor!

Would appreciate it if you would rate my solution. If you have additional questions, state them by clicking on Additional Comments.

10'' table saw binding?

Sounds like you lost a spacer that goes behind the first flange against the motor bearing, you could use a lock washer if you bend it flat.
Assemble:

spacer washer,
first flange,
blade,
second flange,
nut.

I think the first flange is rubbing the motor housing.

Need to replace the rubber door seal on a hotpoint Ultimate WT960

For most front-loaders:
Lubricate the slot which fits over the tub with washing-up fluid. Starting at the top, press the seal so the flange of the tub enters the slot on the seal. Work your way round the using thumbs to force the slot on the tub flange. When slot is on the flange all way round, fit the spring which holds it on. The spring goes into a slot on the outside of the seal. This is quite difficult and you may need another pair of hands. Fit the outside of the seal to the cabinet - this is easy and fit the plastic clamping ring.
Test for leaks before using. Use rinse to test as the water level is higher.

(There is no glue anywhere, only clamps, etc)

Cannot remove the carbs (Physically).

If you can get or cut an allen key that will fit the bolts holding the inlet manifold(the rubber things between carbs and engine)then you could try taking those off. Otherwise you may have to drop te engine.
