SOURCE: SA-AK95 volume control problem

This volume controls is actually what is called an encoder. The control itself needs to be replaced. Figure on $5-$10 for the part plus the local labor rate for the total repair cost.

SOURCE: the entire control board on

There is probably a power supply failure or with the power on reset circuit. Likely low voltage to the logic electronics. This is NOT DIY unless you are familiar with electronics.

IPhone6S worth buying it?

From what I've seen and heard, if you have a 6, wait for the next phone after the 6s. Anything 5s or earlier go for it!

It really comes down to how badly you want the new stuff and how much money you're willing to spend on tech. Remember that you'll probably want to upgrade to the next one too. Is it worth buying it now, or the next one?

The contacts in the volume control encoder are dirty. If you know what you're doing, it can be taking apart and cleaned, otherwise replace the volume control.
