How do I disassemble a Logitech Alto keyboard?

Some of the keys are sticky ... Firstly, I have. I was going to post how I did it. Why can't I answer my own question ?

Most Logitech keyboards have a series of series on the back panel. If you take a screwdriver and unscrew them all you should be able to dissemble it from there.

SOURCE: Aspire 4720 PC Notebook: sticky keys, some liquid wet the keyboard...

Its hard to get them working again properly, i had to replace 4 sticky keys finally. I found this company who sell laptop keyboard keys at a very good rate, and even have tutorial's on how to fix the keys , that makes it really easy ...

SOURCE: My keyboard has sticky keys. How do I disassemble



Remove laptop battery.
Remove two screws securing the hard drive cover. Remove the cover.
Remove one screw securing the memory cover. Remove the cover


Pull the hard drive to the left. Disconnect it from the motherboard and remove.
Remove both memory modules.

Remove all screws from the bottom of the laptop.


Remove the keyboard bezel using a smal flathead screwdriver.
Be careful, it's fragile.


Remove four screws securing the keyboard.

Press on the plastic lock (red arrow) and release the keyboard.


Lift up the keyboard.

Be careful, it's still attached to the motherboard.

Disassembling logitech alto stand

You need to disassemble the two part on the right side of the stand, where the USB connections are and where you can push the connect button. This is fixed with glue and some kind of tape. Use some force (I used screwdriver) :) Under this you will find 3 and 4 screws. Then you can disassemble it completely (see photo)!

I can't get the keyboard to work. I can't get the wireless stand and keyboard to connect where I can use the keyboard.

Double check your batteries first. Secondly, if you havent already, go to logitechs website and download the software drivers for your particular keyboard and see if it helps!

While typing keyboard letters ,it is typed double letters

Go under CONTROL PANEL then KEYBOARD and adjust the sensitivity. It is probably set too high, thus repeating keystrokes.

try to reinstall driver, go to device manager then right click at keyboard then chose update driver, its no problem if you dont have it windows will automaticly chose driver just follow instruction

Can not connect my wireless Alto Logitech keyboard to the note book stand. I have tried 2 lots of new batteries.

press "connect" on the stand first, then press the red "connect" button on the keyboard about 2-3 seconds afterwards (located where you insert your batteries)

My Logitech Alto Cordless Laptop Stand Keyboard stopped working. the stand still works but not the keyboard. I changed the batteries for new ones and unpluged it, restarted the laptop. But it stil not...

Have you tried the connect button underneath the keyboard? Sometimes they get out of sync.

You will have to press the sync button on the stand first and then press the sync button on the keyboard. Good Luck

Keyboard click

i think u will hear the noise whn u pressing shift ,ctrl,and alt keys continusly na..these keys r called sticky keys.....pls press these keys 5 times continusly thn one window will come in that window thr is a option called turn off sticky keys pls tick the box u can remove the noise k
