SOURCE: can't change channels. don't have remote. need to get channel 3 for cable

Use the buttons located on the TV to switch the channel to 3 or buy a universal remote from any local supermarket/drugstore. Or if it's not a rush, get the original from Ebay based on yor TV model

SOURCE: Harmony 880 Logitech won't change channels

Was it working before?  Is it possible you selected the wrong brand of TV when programming the remote?  Do you use a cable box or satellite dish with your TV (in other words, do you change channels by changing the channel on the TV, or on the digital box connected to your TV)?

Can't change channels with Harmony 650 remote. I tried to change channels manually message on TV screen came up " not available

Try by set the remote control with an other set-up code said for your TV. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Logitech harmony 650 remote doesn't work with old Roku player

I have an old Roku and was able to get the harmony 650 to recognise it. The model of my old Roku was SD since I originally used it on my analog TV. Everything seems to work without having to "teach" the Harmony. The only quirk was having to use the Exit button to go back to a Netflix movie description and again to go back to the channel list.

Logitech Harmony remote having trouble changing the channel

Harmony remotes use IR commands, so you will always have to have line of sight for it to work.

However, if you are using the RF extender, ensure that the device you are using to change channels is assigned to the extender, and that the extender is properly paired.

Logitech harmony xbox 360 remote not communicating with 360.

There is a setting that may need to be changed within the Xbox 360, to allow it to be controlled by a Harmony Advanced Universal Remote.

To configure your Xbox 360 to respond to a Harmony Remote

  1. Using your original Xbox 360 controller, go into the Xbox Dashboard on the Xbox menu
  2. Select "Console Settings"
  3. Select "Remote Control"
  4. If "All channels" is selected, select "Xbox 360 Media Remote”. If "Xbox 360 Media Remote" is selected, then select "All channels"
Your Harmony remote should now control your Xbox 360

Changes 2 channels at a time

I can help you with your Logitech Harmony 890 remote control.

The Logitech Harmony 890 remote control is programmed through the
Harmony Windows Setup Software.

I recommend resetting it up with your components to get rid of the two channel problem.

Once installed, you will simply run the program and select the devices you would like to control from menus. This program finds the right codes for you and loads them into your remote control.

You can get a copy of the Harmony 890 Manual by clicking here.

I hope that helps.

RCA TV won't change channels

Your set uses the 195 series chassis and you have something set wrong in your guide plus. Go into the TV's menu and do a complete set-up. Take the remote and press MENU, then "8" to enter setup, then press "1" for "begin setup now" and then press "1" for English, and so on. You must enter "set up guide plus+", then press OK on the remote to choose "setup", select "USA", enter your zip code, and then if you choose "yes" for "do you have cable?" you MUST then choose "no" for "do you have a cable box" If you choose "yes" for that choice, your tuner will lock on one channel no matter what channel you try entering. After choosing "no" for "do you have a cable box", choose "no" for "do you have a VCR?", exit the guide plus menu and then skip the rest of the steps by pressing "2", and then exit the main menu by pressing "0". Your channels will then work normally.
