SOURCE: poulan bvm pro 200 gas blower not getting gas

As a service center for Poulan products the usual problems for not starting I see is compression or the cylinder has come loose from the crankcase. Compression needs to be 115 psi minimum. If you remove the plastic muffler cover you can see the cylinder-crankcase joint. Wiggle the spark plug to look for any movement at that joint. If there is any movement the cylinder screws are loose.

Poulan has an excellent 2 year warranty and any service center should be happy to repair it under warranty for any problem.

SOURCE: I have a Poulan Pro Blower PPB2000LE rope came

It is not a question of clockwie or not, it depends on the direction of rotation of the engine, they are not all the same.

*wind the rope/spring in the direction that the rope would pull the rope rotor.

1) remove the recoil housing
**NOTE: normally you DO NOT need to remove the rotor pulley or spring to replace the rope. This is the area that causes so many guys a lot of extra trouble

2) locate the string that is left and the hole it is threaded thru

3) determine how much string has broken off of the rope that came out

Note: if more than 1 inch is left, then the rope needs to be replaced

4) after rope is obtained, make sure both ends are melted to a point for easier threading thru handle and rope rotor

5) install the rope (with the handle installed on one end) thru the recoil housing and towards the rope rotor.

6) with the rotor free of tension, route the rope from the groove toward center and up thru the hole. Tie a knot in the end of the rope, leaving a 3/8" tail free.

7) wind the rotor in the direction of what the rope would pull (this will tighten the spring) until the spring is completely wound. remove 1/2 to 1 revolution, and then allow rope to wind onto the rotor until all rope is wound.

8) Pull the rope several times to position rope properly into rotor.
*note : there should be NO droop in the handle after released
If droop is evident, wind the rotor and rope 1 revolution tighter so there is no droop of handle when released

9) when unit is functioning proplerly, re-install housing onto unit

How to fix electric start on poulan pr270

Sounds like your drive gears on the starter are shot.
I took my starter off and took it to a small engines shop and he repaired it for $25.00. He said i could have fixed it myself but the little springs are hard to line up and you have to know what you are doing.

Tines wont turn handle grip flopped down no spring tension

Could be your cable has broken or come undone or the spring has broken. I had to replace my cable and had to order this cable and I was in a hurry so I picked up a cable for a lawn mower cut it in half and got a package of wire sleeves and put them on and crimped them with a vice grip.
Machine works good now.

How to adjust the Toro 826 snow thrower

Belts will have spring tension on the idler pulleys.
Both traction and auger control cables will also have cable length adjustments to cause the travel of levers or idler pulleys to tighten belts. Adjustments are commonly located under the control panel/levers.
