remove the seat and carb. clean the carb with any brake cleaner. remove the little screws that are inside the carb(jets) and clear the tiny pin holes with a needle and blow through them.

SOURCE: I have a Kait scooter which starts, but after riding wants to die at stops. Sometimes if it does, or after I park it and come back right away it won't turn back over unless it sits awhile. Thoughts?

Second post of same issue? (still posted in wrong section)

SOURCE: Is there a manual for 150 Kait scooters?

Hi, Glenn the vast majority of service, parts, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, then there is eBay where you may be able to find what you need at a very high price because of its age and rarity. Most of the "FREE" manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. To download your manual please click on the links below. Good luck and have a nice day.

Cant get the battery pack off 3 wheeled go go scooter. On the video it seems simply but mine wont budge

The battery pack on a Pride GoGo scooter simply lifts off but they can be very tight sometimes and require a good tug upwards. This should get a little easier with use though.

Hope this helps.

Seems like the left tire is wabbling at about 30mph. i slow and it's ok. i looked underneath and saw nothing loose jeep cherokee

After confirming the lugs are tight, either take the wheel down and have it balanced or rotate that wheel with the one on the other side to see if the wobbling follows it.

Hope this helps.

Missing rear axle. is there a way to replace? the company won't.

I had the same problem. I bought this scooter for my daughter at a flea market and the rear axle was gone, someone had tried to fix it with a bolt, but it was very unstable. Here is what I did and it has seemed to work well. This will cost you less that 10.00 at your nearest home improvement store.
You will need
1x - 5/16 x 8 hex bolt 1x - 5/16 nut 4x - 5/16 x 1 1/4 flat washers 2x - 1 1/4 hard rubber stoppers 1x - 3/8 drill bit & drill 1x - gorilla glue or lock tight
Ok... before we start let me tell you what all this is for and how it works. The way I assembled this was, hex bolt, 1 washer, wheel for scooter, 1 washer, 1 rubber stopper (Insert this into the metal tube on the back of the scooter, so that on the other side you will just have a bolt sticking thru) now, 1x rubber stopper, 1x washer, other scooter wheel, 1x washer, hex nut.
The rubber stoppers are the hardest part and the reason for them is to keep the bolt going thru the middle of the axle tube. This will help to eliminate the scooter from wobbling.
Now, if you have read this far here is how we did it in order.
1. Take both rubber stoppers and trim them with a kitchen knife so that they will fit into the metal tube on the back of the scooter securely. (do not push them all the way in yet)
2. Drill a hole thru the middle of both trimmed rubber stoppers with the drill and bit
3. Take your hex bolt and slide a washer on
4. Slide your 1st wheel on
5. Slide on a 2nd washer
6. push on the trimmed rubber stopper to where it meets the washer. (The wheel should be able to still spin pretty freely, If you think it is to tight just pull the rubber stopper up a bit)
7. Take this assembly and push it into one side of the metal tube on the back of the scooter (you want the rubber stopper to be and flush with the edge of the metal tube and you can)
8. Your hex bolt will be stick out of the other end of the tube, slide on the last rubber stopper try and work it into the tube as best you can.
9. slide on 3rd washer
10. Slide on last wheel
*At this point I put the scooter on its side and pushed down on the wheel to force the stopper into the tube
11. slide on 4th washer
12. screw on nut
*Now I found that if you put the nut on to tight the wheels would not turn, but if you left it loose it would fall off.
13. To fix the above issue we put some gorilla glue on the bolt threads and screwed the nut on, we would spin the back wheels until we were happy with the amount of tension on the wheel. We then put some more glue on the top of the nut to help hold it in place.
14. Let the glue dry
Thats how I fixed my daughters scooter. I am in NO WAY a professional or expert at this stuff. Just a dad trying to make his baby happy. Hope this works for you!

Rally 4. The steering seems to be stiff or tight.

hi,

ok now carefull tip the scooter onto one side, look at where the steering column attachs to the main frame, it's here you should find a bearing type collar, now you need to losen this and lubricate with a light gears, best to use a waterproof gease then tighting the collar up but
not too much otherwise your steering will again become tight.

I have a 1992 Crown Victoria. When I am backing

it sounds like it could be a bunch of things...first, id check to see if the lugs are tight. Try retightening them in a star pattern t make sure thats not the problem. If thats not it, it might be the inner and outer tie rod ends. Our car had that same problem recently and we had to have those replaced. If that doesnt fix it, then it will most likely be the ball joints on that side of the vehicle. it will take some time, but replacing them should fix some of the problem.......
Another thing id try before doing all of that would be the wheel bearing. If its loose or worn really bad, it will make the wheel wobble and even separate from the spindle if its bad enough. Had a buddy that had his F-150 do the same thing while coming from college. Luckly we werent going fast into a turn or the wheel would have came off *luckly the bolt held up into we came to a stop on the road. hope this helps out any
