Question about Nikon Cameras
This is a brand new camera, never been used, so I am still trying to figure it out, have looked at numerous instruction videos, but nobody covers what is wrong when the screen automatically switches off.
That's probably because nothing is wrong. If you want a longer screen time-out, you can set it in the menus.
The camera is designed to be primarily used by viewing though the optical viewfinder. Not only will this generally give you a better look, the camera is more stable when pressed against your cheek than it is held out at arm's length.
