I own 2 Haier air conditioners. Same model number, purchased at the same time. Plugged them in yesterday and one is collecting water in the bottom and shuts off. The only way to get it to come back on is...

Condensation occurs when warm, humid air is pulled across a cold fins of an air conditioner and blown out the front as cool, dry air.

What is happening with your air conditioner sounds to be normal operation - here's why:

The condensate usually drips onto the ground from traditional window air conditioner units or through a pipe to the ground from remote air handlers of split systems. Since yours has no place to drain away into soil or waste pipe, it is collected in a compartment that must be emptied, just like a dehumidifier. When the compartment is full, the unit shuts off - otherwise the compartment would overflow on the the flooring or carpet. This could be a very expensive repair if hardwood floors were damaged or carpeting were to become moldy. Even more so if the the space under yours were finished - like an apartment building or if you used this on the second floor of your home - and damage to the ceiling below were damaged.

You could operate the device if it were connected by a hose to a drain at or below the bottom of the connection point (a floor drain, shower drain, etc.) or if the unit were placed on a counter top and allowed to drain into a sink or other drain / waste pipe below the the hose connection point. The hose must not get higher than the connection point at the drain plug on the air conditioner to work properly.

I hope this helps and good luck.

Drainage problem-water is coming out of the air vent inspite of the drainage pipe

The drain pipe may have come loose or it is clogged. I bet on it being clogged. They are not difficult to unclog, using something like a flexible Zip Tie about 18" - 20" long and small enough to fit into the drain tubing. It will help to **** out the clog.

Hope this helped you solve the problem.

Water is dripping from the inside unit and not coming out of the drainage pipe outside

The reason the water is coming out of the unit and not the drainage pipe outside is for a few possible reasons.
1 -the drain pipe is clogged / plugged (due to calcium build up,or frozen)
2- the line is kinked or blocked.
check the drain pipe carefully, there may be obstuctions.

Daikin air conditioner leakin water at a fast rate

You should have access to the condensate drain from the outside. You can use compressed air to unclog the unit. If you can, try accessing the drain from the source outward but be careful, you can blow debris everywhere. Make sure you have something to catch it so it doesn't spray everywhere. If you don't have access to compressed air, you can use a small plumbing snake to work you way up the pipe. Hope this answers your question.

LG LST243C-2

- Check your air filter at the indoor if clean.
- Check your evaporator fins if clean.
- Check if no icing in your evaporator and outdoor pipes.
- If your air filter and evaporator fins is clean and icing is present then your unit is under charge.
- When your indoor drips check your drain pipe if there are water comes out. If no water drain from your drain pipes then your drainage is restricted.
- Flush your drainage with water using your garden hose to flush out dirts from your drainage.
