Need codes to program my scaner - Office Equipment & Supplies

A E244 error code deals with the scaner. When you turn the copier ON will the scanning lamp turn ON? If it dose and you make a copy and thhe scaner moves & start to make a copy and then codes out. The problem is the BLACK scaner power cable has a crack in the coatting and is arching out to the frame o the copier..... It is not a easy fix.... If the scaner lamp is not turning ON???? You may have a blown Lamp or thermal fuse.... You can still find these parts..... The code will not go away till the problem is fixed.. Good Luck

To enter a known frequency into the scanner's memory:
1. Power the scanner ON.
2. Press MAN to stop scanning.
3. Enter the number of the channel to be programmed (1 through 30) - OR - press the MAN key repeatedly to advance to the desired channel.
4. Enter the frequency including decimal point (ex: 146.25).
5. Press E to enter the info into memory.
6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 to program other channels.

Hi you need to get a progran that has a scaner on it like a art program or photo program , I use PaintShop pro 7 It old program but works good there newer ones to be had.

start - program- lixmark scaner- click on it-the diloge window for scaner apper choice the dip as300 or more put 300 is good then choice the jpg for hoto to be very easy when you have save the photo make prevew for the picture the scaner will make scanning for the picture in the glass then will apper on you moniter computer select the part you want scanning by mouse then click scan when finish save it .make sure you instull the scaner in your computer good.

You can download most of them from the printer company for free. Sounds like HP.com for you! Warning, when you install, make sure the printer is not connected to the computer until the installation program tells you to connect it. Have it plugged in and turned on and have the usb cable attached to printer.

Go to radio shack site. There is probably a manual you can download if you search the site. The catalog number for the scanner is 20-427. you can search by that number if the model number does not work.

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

open your programming manual,or setup manual and read the codes return to factory
