Question about Audio Players & Recorders
It just went dead, sometimes the standby light will come on, but nothing else
The first question we need to look at is does it still have a warranty?
If not, then have fun.
I did this for my son a couple of months ago.
1. Unplug the unit from it's power source.
2. Remove the back cover and one side cover, opposite the power cord.
3. There are 3 fuses, one located next to the cable inlet and on the right side there are two more, one for each speaker.
4. If you only replace the one fuse, the power may go on, but there might be no sound.
Try it and see.
If there is still no sound, you need to replace the other two.
They are hard to see.
You can get these at any hardware store and replace them yourself.
