My RV600 Reverb Machine won't turn on. I'm using a standard 9v adapter...Do I need the behringer one of is my pedal just broken? I bought it about and hour ago.

Did you check the polarity of the adapter? The effect box uses inner pin for negative and outer barrel is positive which is oppsite from most consumer electronics.

Amp is little used and now the reverb is not working. It is never moved from the room where I play.

There are only TWO op-amps and the tank involved with the reverb. Both of those are in one IC chip labeled "U2". It is a TL072.

Pin 1 of that chip is the output to the tank and pin 7 is the inout of the reverb control pot that then goes into the power amp.

They resistively mix the delayed reverb signal with the straight signal at the input of the power amp.

I assume you have turned up the reverb control which is just a volume control for the signal going through the tank.

There are so few parts involved with this that a failure is really rare.

Reverb problem

I highly doubt the reverb pan is dead, there are TL072 opamps on the input and output of the Reverb pan. Check those out. You can get the schematic from fenders website here. U6A and U6B are what you are looking for.

The screen of my SPX-90 yamaha reverb is showing weird symbols and the unit does not operate anymore. Any idee od the problem? Thank-you

Check the power supply voltages. Likely the 5 volts is low or out of tolerance. You MAY need to check that it is pure DC as bad filter caps can cause it to ripple out of operating range BUT still show OK on a meter.
